Where you getting that it has nothing to do with judgement of sin or salvation when you clearly compare it to scriptures is says to the opposite. Yes, I understand God forgives our sins IF we repent, but sins we don't repent from will be judged. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. - Jhn 5:28-29 KJV For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. - 2Co 5:10-11 KJV For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely [rarely/hardly/few] be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? - 1Pe 4:17-18 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. - Rev 20:11-15 KJV But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. - Mat 12:36-37 KJV

This is incorrect Jesus taught us of two different types of resurrections (spiritual and physical): Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is [present event], when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. - Jhn 5:25-27 KJV The above passage of scripture is referring to a spiritual resurrection also called the new birth or born again. This is not a future event but present resurrection that is already happening now in the lives of those who believe and are regenerated from spiritual death to spiritual life. The second type of resurrection is a physical resurrection of the body from the grave and applies to ALL that have died physically. The purpose of this resurrection is that all will stand before God and be judged. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming [future event], in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. - Jhn 5:28-29

This has already happened under Antiochus IV Epiphanes (Northern Kingdom) that was at war Egypt (Southern Kingdom) during the Grecian Empire and conquered and defiled the Temple in Jerusalem with a statue of Zeus and Pig offerings. During the Roman Empire, Titus was the Syrian that destroyed Judea/Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD.

Yes there is as brief silence at the beginning of the opening of the 7th seal and here is why according to scripture. Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD [is] at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD'S sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. ... And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, [that there shall be] the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. ... The great day of the LORD [is] near, [it is] near, and hasteth greatly, [even] the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day [is] a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. - Zep 1:7-8, 10, 14-18 The silence is a time God prepares a great feast and calls together his guest this happens before the Wrath of God is poured out (trumpets, bowels). And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all [men, both] free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. - Rev 19:17-21

Principles of Marriage 1 Corinthians 7 14
Jedi4Yahweh replied to JohnR7's topic in General Discussion
This is just my opinion. God surrounds godly homes with blessings and protection but ungodly homes are living under the curse of God. It says in scriptures: "For I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me, And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. - Deu 5:9-10 The way Paul makes it sound is if one of the parents is a believer they sanctify (set-apart) their children or bring them under the covenant & blessing of God, which are passed on to their children. I am not saying their children are eternally saved but set apart for God's mercy, blessing and protection. Thank God for godly parents! Clean things were things set apart for God vs. Unclean were things not set apart for God. For instance the scriptures speak of clean and unclean foods, animals, people, priest, nations, special days, etc. -
So you don't believe the Torah that was given to Moses was accurate??? I already explained Hebrews 8 above. God's law is eternal and will never be obsolete. Do you really think God will ever be okay with people that worship other Gods/Idols, blaspheme his name, dishonor their parents, adultery, murder, lies, cheating, stealing, and lusting after evil things. NO! All his commandments [are] sure. They stand fast for ever and ever, [and are] done in truth and uprightness. - Psa 111:7-8 I will keep your law continually, forever and ever, - Psa 119:44 The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous laws endures forever. - Psa 119:160 It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void. - Luk 16:17

Most people would attribute that Day of Lord the entirety of the 7th week of Daniel, but that is not what the scriptures says. The day of the Lord happens after the 7th seal is opened. Joel says the following the Day of the Lord happens after the Sun goes dark and Moon to blood which is apart of the 6th seal, the 7th seal is beginning of God's Wrath which includes the (Trumpets, Vials of Wrath). And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. - Joe 2:30-31 KJV --- 1st seal/White Horse: World Wide Deception... And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. - Mat 24:4-5 (RCC, Islam, New Age, Universalism, False Gospels, etc.) 2nd Seal/Red Horse: World Wars (World War 1, 2, civil wars & unrest, uprisings, etc...) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. - Mat 24:6 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that [people] should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword. - Rev 6:4 3rd Seal/Black Horse: World Famine and Pestilences...and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows. - Mat 24:7-8 4th Seal/Pale horse: represents the start of the Great Tribulation, its a culmination of all three previous seals (deception, wars, famine, plagues, and death all over the world) called the Great Tribulation. This is were the one world beast government and Anti-Christ/false prophet rise to power. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.... 5th Seal/Great Persecution/Mass Apostasy: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. - Mat 24:7, 9-11 6th Seal/Cosmic Disturbance/Signs in the Heavens: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. - Mat 24:5, 7-11, 29-30 KJV And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. - Joe 2:30-31 KJV I believe this is the point where God deliverers his people and seals the 144000 Israelites from the wrath to come. 7th seal/God's Wrath: includes all the Trumpet Judgements and Vials of Wrath on the rest of the world. The Seventh Seal is the Great Day of God's Wrath, this happens after the Sun is darkened and the Moon turns to blood.

@Rosie1jack2pauline3@Marathoner Georgie fixed my issue. I think the issue was caused when I switched from my old account to this one. My old account had problems and I ended up creating a new account. George then worked with me the migrate all my stuff over to this new account, but most of my posting stats, going all the way back to 2003, did not transfer over which put me into a lower tier, which took away my ability to delete. Never really noticed it until recently. Jedi

What would be purpose of God stating there will be eternal torment and punishment if it does not exist. [Rev 14:9-11 NKJV] 9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives [his] mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 "And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." [Mat 25:44-46] 44 "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' 45 "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do [it] to one of the least of these, you did not do [it] to Me.' 46 "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." [Luk 16:22-24 ] 22 "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 "Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' [Mat 8:11-12] 11 "And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 "But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." [Mat 22:13] 13 Then the king said to the attendants, 'Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'

Hmmm....explain the following verses: [Rev 5:8-10 KJV] Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation [gentiles]; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. [Rev 1:4-6 KJV] 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia [gentiles]: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. [Dan 7:27 KJV] 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

The Seals 1-6 are not the Wrath of God, tribulation yes. God's Wrath does not happen until the 7th seal is opened. God's wrath is announced at the end of the 6th seal and just before the 7th seal is opened. [Rev 6:12-17 KJV] 12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? [Joe 2:30-31 KJV] 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. The 7th seal includes all the Trumpet Judgements and Vials of Wrath. The Seventh Seal is the Great Day of God's Wrath, this happens after the Sun is darkened and the Moon turns to blood which were apart of the 6th seal.

It is true that God's name: YHVH has been removed from our bibles but not 700 times its over 7000 places where it was removed. Nearly every place its says "The Lord" in the old testament is replacing his divine name "YHVH" aka (Yod Hey Vav Hey). There is a lot of speculation on why they replaced it. Many of the Jewish writings replaced God's name with "Hashem" which means "The Name", because they held the it was too sacred to pronounce. Many of the vowel markers where removed from YHVH so people would not pronounce it as well. Some say since the name had become obscured and unknown how to pronounce correctly and decided to replace it with "The Lord" instead, not sure why they just didn't leave it as YHVH. We know from certain places in scripture that the first part of YHVH is "Yah" the reset is have been up to speculations. So therefor, we have all sorts spellings such as Yahovah, Yahweh, Yahuwah, Yahavah, etc... Technically there was no 'w' letter in ancient Hebrew but the "v" or Vav sounds close to a "w" when used with certain vowel markers in some cases and this is why some use "w" in place of "v". Also, there was no 'j' letter or sound in ancient Hebrew but many translations decided to use "J" instead of "Y" not sure why. For instance Joshua which means "YHVH's salvation" is pronounced/spelled "Yahoshua" in Hebrew, which also the name of our Messiah in Hebrew that people refer to as Jesus in Greek. The name "Jesus" is not a translation from Hebrew but a transliteration where they took the name and formed a whole new name that is not even equivalent to the Hebrew name or meaning. Even though some say "Jesus" means "salvation" but Jesus nor Iesus translate to "salvation" in greek. Soteria is the greek word for salvation.

It would not take much. Many in our congress want the US to give our sovereignty over to the United Nations. There are only five nations in the UN that currently have veto power to overrule UN authority: China, Russia, United Kingdom, France, and United States all other nations are required to follow the mandates of the UN. UN is trying to get rid of this veto power and many in our congress to include Joe Biden (President) are onboard with overthrowing our VETO power which will give the UN sovereignty over the United States.

I agree that some of the seals have already been opened and the Four Horsemen are the beginning of sorrows leading up to the Great Tribulation. I believe we are in the 3rd seal and on the verge of the 4th Seal. 1st seal/White Horse: World Wide Deception... And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. - Mat 24:4-5 KJV (RCC, Islam, New Age, Universalism, False Gospels, etc...) 2nd Seal/Red Horse: World Wars (World War 1, 2, civil wars, uprisings, etc...) The Feast of Tabernacle will be fulfilled in heaven
Jedi4Yahweh replied to R. Hartono's topic in Prophecy
Pentecost also know as the feast of weeks. It was exactly 7 weeks after Passover (49days +1). Feast of weeks represents the spring harvest. It was the first harvest of the year that was offered to God. The Feast of Weeks does not represent the Chruch age. God has always had a church (assembly) of true followers even under the old covenant. Church simply means the assembly of God people. This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and [with] our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: - Act 7:38 KJV The Feast of Weeks represents were God assembled his people at Mt Sinai in Arabia to present the Laws of the covenant, it also represent the New Covenant and giving of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. I agree the Feast of Trumpets (plural) is in connection to the "rapture" aka. gathering and is specifically related to the Last Trumpet/7th Trumpet near the end of the Great Tribulation/ its also in conjunction with the 1st resurrection. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. - 1Co 15:52 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. - Mat 24:29-31 KJV The New Moon does not represent the new year but a new month. The priest were to watch for the New Moon to declare a new month celebration with a trumpet blast. This also called the Rosh Chodesh (Head of the Month) that was celebrated each month with a trumpet blast and feast. Rosh Hashanah represents the New Year. The Feast of Tabernacles is the considered the final harvest which happens in late Sept/early Oct. The Feast of Trumpets happens a few weeks prior to Feast of Tabernacles. Any time Israel gathers for a feast or Sabbath there is a Trumpet blast. The trumpet blast represented a gathering of God's people. If you go to a on the Shabbat on the Sabbath you will here the Shofar blast. A long repeated trumpet blast was a time to assemble and go to war. God comes down at the end of the tribulation with shofar blast to gather his people. We meet him briefly in the air at his coming and return with in power and glory to rule and reign, if your name is written in the book of Life. -
Yes, it was the Levitical priesthood that was considered the weakness of the Old Covenant. It explains in the Book of Hebrews (chapters 7-10) that the offering of sin though yearly animal sacrifices offered by imperfect and sinful men (Levitical priesthood) for the atonement of sin was the issue. God did not do away the the priesthood but changed the order and process, but there is still is a sin sacrifice required and a priesthood. Yahshua became our sacrifice though his own blood. Yahshua became our eternal high priest that offered a better sacrifice and a better priesthood that no longer requires an annual sin atonement but a eternal atonement. It was the Levitical priesthood and regulations that changed.

God tempted Abraham? But God doesn't tempt?
Jedi4Yahweh replied to plo1988's topic in General Discussion
Truthfully, I have never quite understood that as well, because scripture clearly shows that God test/try/proves the hearts of men. Could you imagine God telling you to offer up your son or daughter as a sacrifice. Clearly this would be seen as murder/human sacrifice which is an evil act in our eyes and understanding. Abraham was obliviously a man of great faith to understand God would make way out of it without having to sacrificing his son, but he was willing to go through with it even if God had to raise him for the dead. The Greek word used for tempt: equates to testing, trying, proving, examine Yet, O LORD of hosts, You who test the righteous, Who see the mind and the heart; Let me see Your vengeance on them; For to You I have set forth my cause. - Jer 20:12 And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people'; and they will say, 'The LORD is my God.'" - Zec 13:9 Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and my mind. - Psa 26:2 ..For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds. - Psa 7:9 -
I have a family member that is deployed to the boarder and says they are not allowed to do anything to the illegal immigrants, not even allowed to stop, talk, question, or come even near them. He said the illegals do not even care their National Guard troops are there but pour right in unhindered and carefree. He said they are regularly harassed, mocked, and even shot at by illegals, but they are not allowed to do anything, because the illegals know they are not allowed to stop them.

I don't want to turn this into a debate. Jesus to include all his chosen apostles taught us to keep the moral law of God which is God's commandments. It does seem confusing comparing Paul's writing with the rest of scriptures. Even Peter said that Paul writings were confusing and people would use his writing for their own destruction and be carried away into the error of lawlessness. Error of lawlessness refers to those who reject the Law of God. Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. - 2Pe 3:14-17 There is a small few within the HR movement that have rejected Paul as a true apostle, but most (majority) maintain Paul is an apostle that has been taken out of context and twisted which many people use to justify their lawless lifestyle, just a Peter warned us. I maintain the latter. There was a lot of conflict in the first century church with Paul and there was even contention between the Apostles and Paul that you can read about in Paul's own writings. We must interpret scriptures in light of the Law and Prophets and this was considered the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God (Law and Prophets) and he is not going to contradict himself. All the NT writing of Jesus and his chosen Apostles are based on the Law and the Prophets. You will not one find instance of his Peter, John, James, Jude, or Jesus teach the Law has been done away it, but quite contrary.

That is exactly my point, when you allow man's theories to override the authority of God's word. Modern Christendom wants to view God's word through the lens of modern science that most often contradicts his word. They want to compromise God's word with modern science, "Well God did not really create the world in 6 days but over billions of years through evolution as science tells us."; "God didn't really flood the entire world, science says the flood was a localized event."; "God didn't really part the Red Sea, science says the Red Sea was crossable on foot and was only knee high"; "God did not really tell Gideon tell the Sun and Moon to stop moving, what he really meant was to tell Gideon to tell the earth to stop spinning." and the list goes on and on.
-
Without the ability to observe and test, it simply is guessing what is below. Obviously they don't call it guessing but theory which they want you to think is fact, much like how they theorized evolution and big bang. I choose to believe God's word over man's theories. Einstein once said if facts don't match the theory, you change the facts.
-
No one knows what is below the earth. The deepest anyone has ever dug is 7.5 miles which is not even breaking the earths crust. Everything they tell you is just a guess. However, the bible does say the there are waters below the earth. Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth: - Deu 5:8 KJV

The Feast of Tabernacle will be fulfilled in heaven
Jedi4Yahweh replied to R. Hartono's topic in Prophecy
Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot/Tents/Dwellings has nothing to do with Roman Pagan Christmas which is RCC version of Winter Solstice celebrated by pagan Rome. Sukkot is celebrated in late Sept/early Oct of the 7th Hebrew month each year, not December. Furthermore, Messiah was not born in the winter but during the spring, but that is for another topic. Feast of Tabernacles has a few meanings. For one it represented God dwelling with Israel in tents (tabernacles/sukkots) during the wilderness. It also represents the final harvest of the year and a portion of that harvest was brought to Feast of Tabernacles as an offering to God each year. Prophetically the feast of Tabernacles represents the 2nd Coming of Messiah to rule/reign here on Earth to dwell with man as King and Adoni. In addition, also represents the final harvest of God gathering his people in the Last days to dwell with them here on earth. “… And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God…”(Revelation 21:3) Shalom Jedi
