  2. well bopeep, my honest opinion of you would be that i think you added something special to this site when you came on board. And a few others have followed your lead as well. So kudos to you.
  3. praying for his family, such tragedy for them.
  4. Where God leads. He guides. Where He guides, He provides.
  5. I think God just likes variety and we just grow where we are planted at. Such a diversity of people every where, only God could do that. Just my opinion.
  6. I do not know about men, but me being a woman, the longer I stay single the more I seem to be ok with it. I adjust and do things alone, with family or friends. Women have their moments just like men I suppose. I have came across some men that are very set in their ways and are willing to change but once they get you hooked in a relationship with them they resort back to their old ways.
  7. meaning, when presented in love, everything reflects back to you, thoughts, actions, words. It is encouraging us to forgive like Jesus would, for Love covers over a multitude of sins.
  8. ...only cars over in America that actually drives with steering wheel on the wrong side are mail man trucks. i have never been overseas to other countries but if i ever get the chance not so sure I would want to drive on wrong side over there...i'm just saying....lol
  9. sometimes i find it best to pray then to say anything.
  10. celebratejesus, dear sister, how are things going with you? blessings, desi
  11. I am staying where i am at with my mortgage until i pay it off. The banks love to dip into your equity to take money out of your home. I am satisfied with my interest rate where its at. Nice information to read and this could benefit some people.
  12. hello kwik, Ever since I came on to this site, I noticed how some didnt address me by name, just how it has been, and i can understand how forums can be, but I agree it is kind of a warm feeling to be addressed my name I certainly agree there, and also I have noticed some do not even respond back for whatever reasons. We have a whole group of different personalities on this site. I have came across some pleasant, nice people and some are rather bullies, this is a christian forum and respect is something i do not always see, but I come to this site to help encourage others as well myself to be lifted in knowing more about Jesus. blessings, desi
  13. Well,He is either shaking His head or laughing.Yes,someone is wrong.I guess we will find that out when we get home. felt like i was in math class again ..takes me back to my catholic high school days...religion and math ..but both not in same class...lol
  14. don't let satan steal your joy. Just give it to God. Think on good thoughts.
  15. I would say he is arabic and lives in New Jersey or New York.
  16. bopeep, the best advice i can give you is keep showing up to work, no matter how grim things look at work, things can change and you may not be laid off. I have been there, I was facing a lay off awhile back and here i had my house mortgage and thought what am i to do. All I could do is keep showing up and worrying was stressful, was down on my knees many nights. God will take care of you and your family. He saved my job, my home, and He will do it for you, we don't know what God has in store for us but always He has our best interest at hand. I dont know your whole situation but I noticed when i would start looking at other places i would get more stressed more upsit, it was such a long deep valley I was in, I do know about almost losing a job I have been there, and I do know about almost losing my home, so I know how your feeling, it is painful, it was in that time i realized I was using my own strength and I was exhausting myself and I could hear God 'your not trusting me enough'.., praying for you as well.
  17. I extremely dislike apartments to, been there done that-I do understand that. However, sometimes one does what one has to-I would rather have an apartment then go into debt renting a house. In all honesty, especially with homes, I think renting a house is basically, just throwing away money, and I refuse to do it. even apartments are iffy, but if Im going to rent a place its probably going to be an apartment. I live in a house now-but I own it, I would much rather make mortgage payments then rent payments. i would have to agree with you concerning the apartments. If one can avoid an apartment and buy a house, your not throwing money away for sure. I do know not everyone wants the responsibility of owning a house with cost of repairs and such, owning a house just isnt for everyone. And at the same time one has to see the landlords position of renting their house but it is highway robbery to raise it so high, its just ridiculous, maybe their thoughts are getting the right people in to take care of their property and if they don't then they can possibly sue, as oppose to lower income people maybe not caring, just not sure other then the money part seems to be the reason for a quick cash flow income on the side. I was reading some stuff on land-sharing where people have extra land they rent out for gardening purposes here in my town, and I was shocked to see just for a season it was $400.00. People see cost of inflation parallel to everything in economy, even personal property.
  18. wrong, God confused the people's languages and all back in the building of the tower of Babel. Gen 11:6
  19. the buddhist monks, they have such disbelief in the creator, even their teachings are hard to understand.
  20. yes i would say. And God still speaks to us today, whether in an audible voice, through people, or scripture, and if you don't know, we have holy spirit in us convicting us of things and guiding us.
  21. I would like to meet the women of the bible, people like rahab, and ruth. And the lost loved ones in my own life.
  22. well, I guess I would have to say i am radical in my creative side. I crochet chemo caps for the cancer patients, and in the past have volunteered baby afghans, booties and caps for newborns at hospital ...and as well help out with stocking up boxes of food for the thanksgiving holiday for families in need. After I retire from work (in 20 yrs) I would continue volunteering probably at hospital and maybe at schools, caring for people. I have the compassion and care.
  23. wow that is high $2000.00 a month,,,I live in a military/tourist town and i see rental houses here at 1500.00/mon. So, i guess it depends on where your located and some people probably are horribly in debt, a way for them to get out of debt, but the more they make the more they spend usually.
  24. i guess they could be any race you want them to be. Nothing wrong with having your own imagination.
  25. it doesnt sound like your having any peace with this... I would let go of it. Just pray and give it to God. Otherwise, it will consume you and you will lose focus on the things that really matter. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
