Aboslutely awesome post. Just a thought, isn't this what the devil is wanting for so-called Christians today? I think was Paul in 2 Tim 3 who said that there were people who were preaching Christ in different fashions, for different reasons, but here's the thing: Christ was being preached. Here's the thing... this argument over hte Christmas tree is petty. If you believe it's wrong, if that is how the Lord has convicted you, than that's great. If not, then this is truly petty argument, time consuming, and it takes away from honoring and glorying Christ. Our goal in life shoudl be about pleasing God, not arguing about Harry Potter books and Christmas trees. I am about sick of people arguing instead of getting the gospel of Christ out. Isn't the devil so good at what he does to get us focused on a tree, about what some people have claimed it to stand for, instead of thinknig about the God of the Bible? I think there is a time and place for the use of that phrase. Using it for people we are debating with is not one of them. I could be wrong, but that's just how I feel. If you're debating an issue that isn't specifically covered in the Word, then all you really have to go on are your convictions. If you can't get someone to see your point.......let it go. your right ,love in christ arrow

i dont know about asking for an apology but i do know that we are not let the sun go down b4 we say sorry and we are supposed to admit and ask forgivness if we are wrong so if she isnt saying shes sorry and was wrong then she has a pride issue or a control issue ,,, lol ,,, me and the wife spat on occasion somtimes i can see she she is wrong but i let it go to keep the peace,,, not that im not sure she does the same i have my faults i mean bro my wife says she sorry in other ways like cookin my favorite pie ,,, she dont say say to me hey hubby i was wrong but she does somthing nice to me to make up for it ,,, her way of saying hey hubby i was wrong and i do it too like when my mom in law came over for month she was gripping about how her house was so much this and that,,, so i said hey mom why doncha go home ??? that didnt go over to well musta been the way i said it i was wrong (dont tell my wife that ) and instead of saying sorry i went over to mom in laws house and fixed her gate ,,, and she cooked lunch ,,, and we had our truce back no sorrys said just a mutual understanding that we were both outa line ,,, love in christ arrow from god

Wow arrow, I had heard that those in the military were given the form you mention, but have never met anyone who actually filled it out. I applaud you for your answer.
