  1. Ephesians 5:14 - "Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." OBSERVATION: If I truly want Christ to "shine upon me, I must arise from the distractions that entomb me in lethargy and spiritual darkness. By praying the scriptures in the epistles of Paul that pertain to our inheritance in Christ we come to know who we are in Christ, the power that is flowing through us, and our authority over sickness, distractions, or other issues of life. Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters." THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT WILL ALSO BE MOVING, FLOWING, AND GOING SOMEWHERE. THIS IS THE NATURE OF THOSE WHO ARE BORN OF THE SPIRIT. John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Mark 11:13 - "And seeing in the distance a fig tree covered with leaves. He went to see if He could find any fruit on it. But when He came up to it, He found nothing but leaves for the fig season had not yet come. And He said to it, 'No one ever again shall eat fruit from you."' There is a message for us in the cursed fig tree. Jesus cursed it for not bearing fruit OUT OF SEASON. It died immediately. Was He unreasonable? Did He lose His temper? Or was He showing us something about His expectations for our lives that we'd just as soon ignore? He has the right to expect the fruit of the impossible from those He has created for the impossible. Affirmations: THE SPIRIT OF THE RESURRECTED CHRIST LIVING IN ME HAS DISQUALIFIED ME FROM THE MUNDANE AND ORDINARY. I AM QUALIFIED FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE, BECAUSE I'M A BELIEVING BELIEVER. FAITH QUALIFIES ME FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. Matt. 3:2, "...Repent ye: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."Matt. 4:17, "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,'Repent: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.'" The Greek word for repentance, metanoeo, means to change one's mind. Many seek miracles for what they could have by simply repenting. There are things that are outside our reach as mere mortal men. Those are the areas God moves in when it comes to the miraculous. Yet there are areas that are completely within our reach -- grasped and conquered by repentance, by changing the way we think so we can conquer ourselves. From this place we conquer our world, as has been given to us by divine destiny. When a believer reaches this achievement, they are ready for some of the greatest miracles man has seen. He has overcome this world just as Christ overcame. Matthew 25:30 - "And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Affirmation: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GIVING ME WISDOM AND COURAGE TO STEP OUT AND BEGIN TO FULFILL THE DREAM HE AS BIRTHED SO DEEPLY INSIDE ME. Nehemiah 4:2 - "Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?" We continue to cry out for revival and we continue to devise ways to bring people into God's kingdom. We may feel like the fishermen in Luke Chapter 5 who were tired after fishing all night and catching nothing. Jesus called out and told them to go into the deep water and let down their nets once again. Only this time, to their surprise, they caught more fish than they could handle. Similarly, God is calling us to plunge into deep water if we want to catch fish. God is indeed pouring out His Spirit on all people. As Christians, we need only ask Him to point out those He is drawing to Himself. If we ask God to open our eyes to "see" and our ears to "hear" His voice, we can get ready for a number of supernatural and divine encounters specifically designed by God to draw millions to Jesus Christ. God calls us to partner with Him in what will be one of the largest revivals in Church history. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Isaiah 66:9 - "Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?" says the LORD; 'Shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?' says your God.'" No more restriction to the sound of God inside of you. Let the winds of God blow in and through you today. It's time for you to release the heartbeat of the King in the earth. Give birth to a new sound that you've never released before. Let it be heard through your life, your ministry, and your career. Let it be heard in your family and in your region. The earth is waiting for what you possess on the inside. It's time to rise up in His plans and purposes for your life. It's time for you to release the heartbeat of the King in the earth. Romans 8:19, "For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God." James 1:4 - "But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." The Greek word patience can be translated endurance, constancy, or being constant regardless of circumstances. Faith is dependent on patience. Patience won't let faith quit. Patience is dependent on the decision to stay on the word regardless of what gets thrown against our lives. Affirmation: VICTORY IS ALREADY MINE "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." - 2 Corinthians 2:14 God ALWAYS leads us into victory. The promise is not that He will help us avoid challenges or difficulties or battles. Actually, it is just the opposite. He leads us into them so that we can enforce the victory that we already have been given in Christ and collect our spoils! Yes, there are giants in the land today. But, it is time for us to stop being intimidated, hiding on the sidelines, and running away like the army of Israel in 1 Samuel 17:23-24. It is time for us to arise and advance like David – knowing and declaring our God (1 Samuel 17:37,46-47). "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." - Joshua 3:5 QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:Will you be that one who consecrates themselves? Will you say yes? Will you look beyond the many things that are wrong and see the One who is righteous – the One who is well able to turn it all around? Will you offer Him your life anew this day – your heart, your voice, your faith? If so, this will be the Church's finest hour, and you will see great wonders in your midst. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Ephesians 1:5,6 - "Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved." Since we are adopted in Christ Jesus a low opinion of ourself or self-hatred is not from God, but from the enemy. Prayer is not trying to get God to do something for you by making Him feel sorry for you. It is coming to Him knowing that you not only deserve what you ask because of the righteousness of Christ, but you also have a right to it because it is based on His word. Hebrews 4:16 - "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." INTO ACTION:What are you doing to affirm who you are in Christ? List 3 advantages to knowing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Our minds and mindsets need to be renewed by the Spirit. The culture of the day has begun to influence the way many see, think and feel, and the Lord is recalibrating us to see, think and feel as He does, and to bring us back to our first love. He wants to remind us of who we are, who He is, and the mission of seeing the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord and being completely reconciled to His heart. Be strong and courageous! Renounce any agreement with fear, unbelief or a critical spirit. It's time to step out of the crowd and cross the threshold into this new place with the Father. The land on the other side of the threshold is rich and bountiful, and it is yours to live in. You are invited to live in the realm of, "With God ALL THINGS are possible," and you are invited to walk in complete surrender to the Father just as Jesus did. John 14:12 - "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father." Romans 14:17 - "For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." AFFIRMATION: Christianity is not about what I put into my life. But what God has already put in my life. The new covenant is:1. I am cleansed by the blood of Jesus. 2. I am filled with the love and Spirit of God. 3. And All God has for me is already inside of me the moment I was born again. Ephesians, 3:16 - "May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His Glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit {Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]" AMP Your future comes from God’s possibilities and from His potential - Not the world’s, not your own. His potential and every promise of every possibility flow through the Holy Spirit, into you, and He will strengthen you with His might to accomplish those things so that you can be who you are called to be, to do what you are called to do and to receive what you are promised to be given. The Power and Strength of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life releases Victorious living in Everyday life! This is a key necessity for today as the Lord reveals His Kingdom and CALLING on our lives and its impact through us on others in the world! By faith in His Word and empowerment within the inner man, we live in a place of Power and Strength. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Are you tired of shallow-water Christianity, and you want the deep things of God, or the strong food that is mentioned in scripture? Are you ready for the deep, deep things of God? Tell God you are ready to be offered, and God will prove Himself to be all you ever dreamed He would be. "I am already being poured out as a drink offering." - 2 Timothy 4:6 Unless we enter into our eternal identities, we will not become instruments for noble purposes. We will not enter into a holiness from Heaven. We will not be useful to God. "We are workers together with God." - 2 Corinthians 6:1 Whatever call He may require of you, He will provide all you need to faithfully fulfill it. He has destined you for success, not failure, in your calling (DESTINY). If we truly follow Jesus, He follows us. When and where the apostles moved, God moved also. Natural effort releases divine effort; the Spirit works where we work. AFFIRMATIONS:My faith in God's Word is not just an abiding faith; it is active -- it is aggressive by nature; it has focus and purpose. I make a fresh commitment to walk in union with God; I give attention to His Spirit in my inner man I make the decision today to paddle upstream against the current of the world by speaking God's word into my life. "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;"- Romans 8:17We need boldness to act on God's Word. We need boldness to act on what the Spirit of God may say to us. The believer has covenant rights in prayer, as well as other covenant rights. The problem that defeats believers in their prayer life is the feeling of inferiority -- a sense of sin-consciousness. Some Christians begin their prayers with, "I'm so weak and unworthy," and then harp on their weaknesses and unworthiness throughout the prayer. "I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." - Isaiah 43:25 We are sons and daughters of God, joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. We are covenant people, and we are covenant people. and we have a legal right -- a Body of Christ right -- to go into the Presence of God the Father with the same confidence and assurance that Jesus has. And we can do it boldly! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6 Every believer holds a position of authority that comes with God-given talents or gifts and is hidden in Christ Jesus, above all demonic authority. So why are so many of us INEFFECTIVE? God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed jar and live life as usual. God's people were created to rule and reign, not to be defeated. He has plans for us to rule and reign with Him in eternity. But our practice begins now. We were saved by the power of God and we live by the same power. The devil hates power because he gets kicked out of places where he is the strong man. God is much stronger and wants to kick him out of people and places through us. We don't need to wait for something to happen. Instead we need to stir that which God has already put inside of us. It is our hunger and thirst for Him that will BREAK US into a greater reality of His glory. It is time to become a walking God-encounter for others. Stir up your faith and release it to others as situations present themselves. Inhale His love and exhale His peace, for what you allow Him to do in you, He will release through you. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. As God's people we learn to live on the basis of hearing God's voice and obeying His word. "The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works." - John 14:10 If we are "in Christ", we are moving with the most pressing speed, for we are "in" the most dynamic man who ever walked the earth. When He says to us, "Follow me", He is inviting us to a high-speed chase down the roads of our life. On that chase there is no rest except eternal rest and no security except eternal security. "My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19 The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to disciple. The reshaping of our values and our desires is the key work of the Holy Spirit. This reshaping brings us into conformity and harmony with God's purpose for our lives (our DESTINY). AFFIRMATIONS: God is helping me walk out of the problems that have tried to grip my mind and my life. I declare this by faith in Jesus' name. I confess and meditate on God's word day by day. That word is equipping, outfitting, and furnishing me with all the spiritual gear I need to take the adventurous trip God has planned for my life. As you become increasingly aware of His Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. This is one of the practical benefits of living close to Him. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if…or when…, you can concentrate on staying in communion with Him. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, He will show you which direction to go. Many people are so preoccupied with future plans and decisions that they fail to see choices they need to make today. Without any conscious awareness, they make their habitual responses. People who live this way find a dullness creeping into their lives. They sleepwalk through their days, following well-worn paths of routine. As the Creator of the universe, He is the most creative Being imaginable. He will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, He will lead youalong fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with Him. Follow His guiding Presence. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." - Psalm 32:8 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. "There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5 Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own CALLING IN CHRIST. We are invited to receive the Spirit, live in the Spirit, embrace the gifts of the Spirit, and be sustained and blown along by the very breath of God to advance our DESTINY in the Spirit. We cannot be in and out, this way and that way if we're going to move and operate and ascend into the incredible levels that God wants to release in us. How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. God created you to rule over all the earth and everything the creeps in it. Thus, if the earth in any way is dominating you, you are malfunctioning. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and OVER ALL THE EARTH.." - Genesis 1:26 The Old Covenant was a system of judgment and death, of the CLOSED Heaven. But Jesus says: 'You shall see the Heaven OPENED, and a way between Heaven and earth, between God and man, made clear. I am that way. I will open Heaven by My own blood.' "Then He 'In truth, in very truth I tell you all, you shall see heaven wide open.....'" - John 1:51added, AFFIRMATIONS: I am confident that His presence in my life is getting stronger. I am completely determined and committed to keep pushing ahead and to never let go until I've accomplished my God-given mission! He is preparing to move me upward into a more glorious phase in my life. I am going from glory to glory! "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." - Revelation 19:10 We meet people everywhere. Our business is to turn them from being forgetful of God, from being devoid of faith, from being prayerless, so that they become people who habitually pray, who believe in God, remember Him and do his will. Whenever we share a testimony of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith. John 3:8 tells us, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." We were born of the Spirit, but sometimes we want to live out of our heads instead of our hearts. We need to determine in our hearts that we're going to ride the wind of the Spirit no matter what our reasonings say, no matter what the naysayers say and no matter what the devil says. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of the Spirit. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of fire. Instead of moaning and groaning in the flesh, sometimes we need to start travailing in the Spirit for that new thing He wants to birth in our lives. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. What are you O great mountain...you shall become a plain......amid shouts of 'Grace, grace to it." - Zechariah 4:6,7 The ministry of the Christian is the ministry of the Spirit. Other men have intellectuality, but the Christian is supposed to be the possessor of the Spirit. As simple as breathing is in the physical life, so will praying be in the life led by the Holy Spirit. ACCESSING THE MIRACULOUS Are you hungry? Do you want to be a sign, a wonder, and a miracle for the glory of the Lord and for a harvest of souls such as the world has never before seen? You're not overcome because Jesus overcame! Why waste time focused on what the giants are doing? Why not focus on who God is and what God is doing and what God can do through you by the effectual workings of His power. To be effective we must minister according to His energy, or His power in our lives. As we cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirit, we experience communion, which is a place of deep-to-deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for us and reveals it to us. "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God - 1 Corinthians 2:10 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. Maybe you feel like your dreams have died, your hopes have died, and your prospects have died. We live in a dramatic world where you may face great hindrances with excessive drama -- God has drama for you -- divine drama. God has a perfect track record, and His resume for doing special things during dark seasons is flawless. God created us to move through spiritual seasons. And some of those seasons are spent in a wilderness. "O my God, I cry in the daytime, but you answer not; and by night I am not silent or find no rest." - Psalm 22:2 Listening to God must become a habit. We must learn to be less analytical and live with more attentiveness to the Holy Spirit. Our minds are so busy racing, analyzing, worrying, doubting, and spinning, that we don't hear when He knocks? AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that my life shows forth an excellent image of who Jesus is and what he stands for in this world. As a result of my firm determination to walk with God, I have power over sin, power over satan, and power when I pray. I stay focused on my calling and remain determined to do what God has told me to do, even if I am assaulted by outside forces. "I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name. O thou most High." - Psalm 9:2 The sacrifice of praise will cost you your self-centeredness and your natural tendency to dwell on whatever is wrong in your life. We are to be continually offering our praise to God. It is a huge key to breakthrough. Our heart attitude plays a major role inbreakthrough. There are people with chains holding them down. Christ is standing beside you with a hammer that can destroy those chains. Just call out to Him and He is faithful and will change your every circumstance. Call Unto Him! Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." This is not just a passage in the Bible it is a promise and it is for you. You are about to receive revelation that will set you free. Press into His heart and He will press toward you and great healing will come to you like a flood. Your mind will be overwhelmed by His Glory that is coming your way and you will begin to understand God's PURPOSE for your life -- walking and not growing weary and running and not fainting -- bearing fruit that lasts. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  13. Spend time in prayer so that you can get your spirit in shape. You were made to worship God. Jarius was a man who was desperate to worship God, and he was willing to fall on his face and worship God, even though a crowd of people was standing around, He wasn't ashamed. "And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him (Jesus), he fell at his feet." - Mark 5:22 If we are concerned about what people think in an attempt to gain their approval (or honor), we will never take a stand in faith for anything that might be criticized. There is indeed a holy radiance surrounding a true Spirit-filled Christian. But when you harbor sin, "your light" becomes "darkness". The devil can traffic in any area of darkness, even the darkness that still exists in a Christian's heart. "So be very careful that your light never becomes darkness." - Luke 11:35 AFFIRMATIONS: God is asking me to bring Him His Word, to plead my covenant rights. I do not pray to God in ignorance but as a partner in His purposes. The Holy Spirit works mightily in me, giving me all the power I need to resist every assault the devil tries to bring against me. I confess that I walk in forgiveness! Offense, bitterness, strife, and unforgiveness have no place in my life. I am full of mercy, longsuffering, and slow to anger. Linger in His Presence a while. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with Him is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in His Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with Him while He readies you for action. "For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10 "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." - Hebrews 12:3 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  14. "How can you give me "living water?" - John 4:11 Prayer: Flow out of me, O'well, with living water from the river of God. Holiness is not "Clean yourself up then come to Jesus" but rather "Come to Jesus just as you are then He will clean you up." True faith walks and believes in what Jesus has already accomplished and will not be discouraged by the appearances of the temporary realm. The gospel can be preached by an archbishop in a cathedral or by a converted drug dealer in a tent. The gospel itself is the greatness, the power, the majesty and the wonder of God on any occasion. Paul said his objective was "by all means to save some" -- 1 Corinthians 9:22 We cannot afford to have a moment in our lives when circumstances distract us from tending the fire of His presence in our heart. AFFIRMATIONS: I have the exact Word I need for every situation - a specific, quickened word from the scriptures. Because this Rhema from God is in my heart, I have real sword power to use against the enemy! I confess that I have taken my place in God's plan. It will take unbelievable strength and energy to move that vision from the realm of dreams to the realm of reality. Because of the Holy Spirit in me, I have the strength. Micah 4:1 - "Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the There are those in the Body of Christ who are still in a very dry place spiritually, but beginning to move up mountains towards a fresh anointing. They have crossed the desert sands and are positioned for the spiritual ascent to the heights, far above worldliness and carnal living.hills; and peoples shall flow to it." God will continue to unfold and reveal His PURPOSE for us as we begin our ascent. He is with you. Heaven’s bells continually peal with that promise of His Presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Him. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking Him above all else. His desire is that His “sheep” hear His voice continually, for He is the ever-present Shepherd. Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear His voice. Beginners need a quiet place in order to still their minds. As you advance in this discipline, you gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. When you step back into the mainstream of life, strain to hear those glorious bells: He is with you. "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:12–13“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me… My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.” - John 10:14, 27–28 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. Hi, everyone. I'll get right to the point... I find it difficult to meet people with whom I have things in common... Or even relate to. Seems like most people these days have lost all sense of integrity, morals and standards...and they don't even know how to have an intelligent, deep conversation. I have recently joined a new church (well, not new but it's new to me),so hopefully I will meet some people there. But in the meantime, if any of you are interested in a good friend, please send me a message. I don't check the forums much so pm is probably better. I am also in the chat room from time to time, although I haven't been on here at all much lately. Looking forward to hearing from you! God bless ?
  16. Oh, how the Lord longs for His church to receive a revelation of His ravished heart - utterly overwhelmed with delight for us - even though we may not like or believe in ourselves. (Psalm 45:11) We have been created to carry the glory of God. Hebrews 2 says that through Christ's suffering He brought many sons to glory. We are the house of God, and He wants to dwell in His house. It was always God's intention to dwell with mankind. "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" - Corinthians 5:17 The Scriptures entreat us to go from glory to glory -- allowing us always to sustain the glory released in us so we can proceed further to the greater realms of glory He desires to display in us. "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 As the will of God grows on you -- gentle impressions become waves of stronger urgency until you have clear conviction. If you don't keep your spirit built up in God, how are you going to listen to Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  17. Romans 4:17 -- ....."God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." Sometimes we feel pain from sickness. How can we go around saying the Christ has redeemed us from this sickness? How can we say that by His stripes we are healed? God's way is to call those things that are not as though they are. And because we are made in God's image, we can also call those things that are not as though they are! When God wanted to make Abraham a father of many nations, what did He do? HE CHANGED THE WAY ABRAHAM TALKED. At that time, Abraham did not even have a single child from his wife, Sarah, because she was barren. So how could he become a father of many nations? God changed the way he talked, How? By changing his name from Abram to Abraham, which means "father of many nations." Every time he said his name he called forth what God saw him already blessed with. When Jesus saw the man with a withered hand, He didn't say, "My goodness! It is so withered!" He said, "Stretch out your hand! (Matthew 12:13). He CALLED FORTH what he wanted. He looked at the paralytic and said, "Rise, take up your bed and go home!" (Matthew 9:6). He didn't see it the way it was in the natural. He saw the way God meant it to be and He called it forth. AFFIRMATION: I change the way I talk -- I see the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth my miracle. Often, the battle is not with the devil, but with our own CARNAL NATURE. Our flesh really longs to rise up and fix things, stating our opinion. We must remember--the greater the faith, the fewer the words. If there are some battles or power-struggles going on in your sphere of influence, keep in mind, it's best to always bow lower. After all, God became a baby to conquer the world. For it's, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, says the Lord." - Zechariah 4:6 As You Allow Him to Change You, He will Change Your Circumstances: The season of depression, confusion, lack, and sinful cycles is over. Don't look back -- Don't bring up the past -- It is under the Blood of Christ. Just as your sins have been forgiven forgive others. Let go of the bitterness and the regrets. Crucify your ego. Release the anger. He will work everything for good. Get ready to move into new realms of His glory. Every time you encounter His glory He is changing you. He is changing your thoughts. He is changing your perspective. He is increasing the power of His Spirit in you. He is anointing you to bring breakthrough to others. Receive the fresh prophetic flow of His presence. Be refreshed. Receive an excitement for that which is coming. The future is full of adventure. Expect Him to do mighty things for nothing is impossible for those who believe! "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." - Ephesians 1:18 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  18. John 6:55,56,60 -- "For my flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.' Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, 'this is a hard saying; who can understand it?'" John 6:63 -- "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life." OBSERVATION: If I don't feed myself on stuff that is Holy Spirit food -- if I only feed myself on stuff that I understand then I have stunted my own spiritual growth. When I only say amen to things that I comprehend then I have just decided to live a very dwarfed spiritual life. What I have done is fashioned a god that looks much like me because he is the one that I can comprehend. Galatians 5:25 -- "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." John 16:13 -- "However when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth." Jesus ignored what His natural eyes told Him, and He declared what His spiritual eyes saw. He saw the heart of God and the mind of God which was far more of a reality than what His physical senses told Him. Faith is the bridge between the eternal (the unseen) and the temporal (the seen). In prayer, we can cross that bridge and see as God sees. Real prayer is not just words, but intently waiting on God until we (by the Spirit) see what He is seeing. AFFIRMATIONS: The Word says I can hear God's voice and I believe it - I do hear the voice of God! Nothing's wrong with God, nothing's wrong with the Word and nothing's wrong with me! I am going to receive my miracle! Extravagant worship is my lifestyle. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As the glory of God comes, there’s also power. In Acts 1:8 it says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;...." As you TURN UP YOUR EXPECTANCY that this will be one of the most powerful times of increase that will come from the glory and the power of the Lord in your life. This increase will come as a result of God’s Glory and God’s Power that you encounter fresh every day. Go into this season with a HIGHER LEVEL OF EXPECTATION than your previous season -- the Lord is going to strengthen you, anoint you, empower you, and favor you to even greater increase in this new season of time.see There are things that He has purposed for you; there are things the Lord wants to strengthen you to believe for again. In His glory and power there is no limitation. Because of His unlimited supply, we can see limits lifted off. We can see great and mighty things take place because of the unlimited realm of God. Lift your vision higher. Set your expectation on the Lord WORKING THROUGH YOU. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  19. Matthew 16:6 -- "Watch out! Jesus warned them. 'Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.'" Ephesians 1:17 -- "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him." The Pharisees emphasized knowledge over revelation and their blatant disregard for God's voice. Of all the people who Jesus encountered, His harshest statements were toward the Pharisees and Sadducees. He called them "dead tombs" and a "brood of vipers"? They were more interested in asking provocative questions and they tried to justify themselves with their own so-called "knowledge" of the Old Testament. And because of their spiritual ignorance, they missed out on the most important move of God in history -- the Messiah. They proved out the Scripture that says, "Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelation of God), the people perish." (Proverbs 28:18). God wants to move us from living a life full of head knowledge into His understanding and His revelation. That takes us moving into a different spiritual posture. We have to start listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying, waiting on Him and His revelation, and start walking that out instead of being satisfied with just knowing about it. We need the reality of scripture working in our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. That's the difference between knowledge and revelation. One HAS the other DOES. AFFIRMATIONS: I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to me the mysteries that are locked in scripture. I hunger for and receive revelation as part of my everyday life. I seek on-going, life-changing revelation from God. On-going revelation and encounters with the power of God launch me into understanding of things I've never understood before. I must have my own revelation from the Father of who Jesus is. I refuse to settle for a shallow mental understanding of Him. "Everyone will be salted with fire." - Mark 9:49 As God delights in igniting joy in the morning--He may allow sorrow for a night. As God desires for us to grow in grace--we may first experience a baptism of disfavor. As God longs to entrust us with Kingdom wealth, according to His riches in Glory--He may allow a season of walking through the fire of poverty. As God intends to exalt He servants--He may humble us in the flames. As God begets us to be love--we may first experience the fiery darts of hatred. In Psalm 27:8 David said, "When You said, 'Seek My face' my heart said, 'Thy face, Lord, I will seek.'" God is saying to you, "Seek My face." What is your response? Is it like David's? Are you saying, "Thy face God, I will seek." Or are you saying, "When I get caught up at work, or when things slow down a bit..."? The time is NOW and by next month "this time" may have passed. Seek Him now, while He can be found, as the Scripture says (Isaiah 55:6). Acting in the spirit of Wherever His presence is, healing is. Wherever His presence is, restoration is. Wherever His presence is, peace is. Wherever His presence is, prosperity is. We WILL See the Goodness of God -- Psalm 27 ends with "I would have lost heart if I had not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13sacrifice He will come to you and His reward will be with Him: Can you sense His desire for time with you? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  20. Psalm 17:15 -- "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness." Many read the Scriptures simply to reinforce their current beliefs. Although they read the entire Bible, their mind only sees certain doctrines. Instead of believing what they read, they merely read what they already believe. Rarely do they find new truths in the Word. Baptists see from their perspective, Pentecostals and charismatics each have theirs, while Catholics and other denominations often have a completely different emphasis. The same way the Jews were "baptized into Moses" (1 Corinthians 10:2), so Christians are often baptized into their denomination. When they are fully indoctrinated, their minds have been immersed into a pool of teaching that leaves them more conformed to the image of their sect than to the likeness of Christ. John 8:31,32 --"So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, ' If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.'" AFFIRMATIONS: As I study the scriptures I submit my spirit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am open to different truths in the Word of God that may conflict with my present understanding. It may not seem that anything good can come out of your Nazareth, but God is not looking at our past; God isn’t looking at our resources, our money, our talents; He is looking for a Bethlehem, a holy place to deliver His will, a humble place to cover His dreams in swaddling clothes and lay them in a manger until they grow and eventually enter the temple on their own. John 1:46 - "Nathanael said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” "And said, Verily I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." - Matthew 18:3 It is very important that the foundation upon which we stand is "The Rock," our Lord Jesus Christ, and that our life is hidden "in Christ." If our spiritual experience is resting on sand, that is, if we are trusting our own abilities, we will fail when the pressures of life increase. When difficulties affect us and we begin to lose our spiritual direction, if we will become quiet and look to the Lord, we will recognize that beneath our vacillations is a layer of spiritual strength and hope that had been deposited within us through our identification with Jesus in His death and resurrection -- which was CONFIRMED IN THE PEACE that came when He took up His abode within us. We need only to realize that WE ARE A NEW CREATION -- that old things have passed away and our life is hid in Jesus, and that our strength comes from Him. With David, we should be able to say, "The Lord is my light and my salvation..." (Psalm 27:1). If we will meditate on the past victories that we gained by placing our lives in His hands, this will become personally real to us. Paul said, "I press toward the mark..." (Philippians 3:14). This "mark" is our CALLING in Christ. We look past our vacillations to see there is within us a deep inner determination to press through to the place where our responses no longer emerge from our Adamic nature, but from the new creation that we have become. 21. The Holy Spirit now lives in our inner man to strengthen us and help us to do what we could not do without Him. God's kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer's inner man. "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.....that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19 If our true desire is to have God enthroned in us -- well, that is all the difference. When we want God above all, we are willing --as Christ was willing -- to follow the Holy Spirit, even in the most dry and dark and painful times. This is the love of God. The revelation that John the Baptist had concerning the Good News and his fresh revelation of the Kingdom must all be "pressed into." We cannot receive present truth revelation without enduring the press. "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." - Luke 16:16 The most wicked of sinners is only one revelation away from salvation. 22. 1 Kings 19:9 - "Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?" Elijah had come to Horeb and lodged there in a cave. Soon, the word of the Lord came to him, “what are you doing here Elijah?” Three of the most important questions God can ever ask us are: 1. What are you doing here? 2. How did your service to Me become so dry and desolate? 3. When was it that you left your first love? Isaiah 43:18,19 - "Do not remember the former things: neither consider the things of old. Behold I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." As we find our place of “departure,” There are some things we need to leave behind. As we depart one phase or season, we will also see our place to enter; we develop new strength to run the race ahead. We seek Him like never before; as we leap forward we find ourselves moving in the perfect will of God! We replace our past with joy! In the land of New Beginnings, we remove the masks and veils that have formed in the past season so we can now form our “true” identity for the future. There is a new identity and authority for us in the invisible world. This will allow us to display the wisdom of God to the powers and principalities that have blocked us in past seasons. We are filled with joy; the Lord renews our strength; the power of barrenness is broken; the light and revelation breaks the power of darkness around us. As joy and laughter arise, our emotions are healed and restored and we are propelled into a season of deliverance. Declaration: I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT THE COURAGE, THE CAPACITY, THE DRIVE, THE COMMITMENT TO WALK AWAY FROM OLD THINGS AND INTO THE NEW IS RELEASED INTO MY SPIRIT NOW. It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk with God-given goals and aims and His divine PURPOSE. We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us. Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP). John 8:36 - "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Break free from everything that hinders the work of His Spirit in your lives. Be free from all false expectations, man's expectations, religious expectations; every expectation that does not come from the hope and expectancy that He gives to you. So you must be emptied of all the things that hold you in the earthly realm, repent and turn away from those things that break His heart. Set your priorities in order for He is taking you into another realm of your faith walk. You are going from Faith to Faith and Glory to Glory. He is taking you into a new faith realm where miracles happen and mountains move and dreams and words are fulfilled in this time -- this is a Holy time and a Holy Moment. His love is reaching to the depth of your being -- this is His being poured out upon you and manifesting in you. This realm is His Kingdom in you; this is dominion, your CALLING in Christ, your place in His Kingdom. So step in, step out of the boat and walk on the water in this New Faith Realm—ONLY BELIEVE and you will receive. Rom 1:17 - "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'" 2 Cor 3:17 - "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 23. How much time do you spend in God's Word compared to taking in other perspectives from television, movies, books, magazines, and the Internet? How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? Can you visualize how your relationship with the Father is changing? As we lay down our own plans and yield completely to Him day by day, the Scriptures promise that we will receive power from on high to be witnesses "to the end of the earth." God wants to resurrect things that have died in you. You may think that your window of occasion is past the time that anything good can happen, but remember we serve the God of the resurrection. 24. 2 Corinthians 12:9 - "And he said unto me. "My GRACE is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." As we yield our wills and ways to the control of God's Holy Spirit, we begin to experience the walk of grace, as Jesus lives His life through us. The fire of passion burns brightly with this deposit of grace. Luke 3:2 - "The word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness." The word of God came to John the Baptist while he was alone in the wilderness, thus giving him clear direction for the days ahead. As a result of his being alone with the Lord, John came into a ONENESS with the Lord that could not have been accomplished in any other way. John 1:23 - "John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, 'I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord'." May it be stated of us, as it was of the disciples of old, that it is apparent we have been with Jesus. This, and crying in the wilderness of our day. There is an urgent need for this voice to cry out in the midst of the frustrations and perils of our present day. We need to stand in the manifest presence of the Lord to be prepared as the voice of one"I am the voice of One."Each one of us should come to the place where we also could make this statement, this, will make the changes that must occur if we are to reach this hurting world with the message of God's redemptive, transforming grace.only Affirmations: AS I RECOGNIZE HIS PRESENCE AND TURN ASIDE TO STAND BEFORE HIM, I BECOME THE EXPRESSION OF HIS VOICE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS OF TODAY. AS I EXPERIENCE SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND SEEK FOR SOMETHING MORE, I AM CALLED APART TO BE ALONE WITH THE LORD FOR A TIME OF PREPARATION. AS I RECEIVE ANOINTING AND IMPARTATION OF GOD'S GRACE, I WALK A GRACE-FILLED LIFE IN ORDER TO SEE THE GLORY OF GOD FILL THE EARTH. Luke 2:52 - "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." Favor depends on abiding in Him (INTIMACY) In friendship with Him, we are no longer servants.
