And if Obama doesn't speak out against this, then I take that as evidence that he doesn't know Jesus (aka. that he isn't a Christian).

I seriously doubt that Obama even knows about it.

Then someone needs to tell him and he needs to denounce it.

Would it calm the media storm if Obama did that --denounce this artwork-- or would it just make things worse?

It would certainly help his personal relationship with God.

I hate to say it but I don't know why we are so surprised and shocked at this. Obama has been the world's new king since before the election. For me personally, it is sad to see that the world is so shallow and limited in it's thinking. What I hate to see is believers defending this man, who, from the very beginning has allowed himself to be an object of worship. With respect to Obama's so called "faith" in the Lord......all evidence to the contrary.

To be fair, it is a historical presidency. No one was really comfortable about Obama bowing to the Saudi king or about some of things he's said to the press/nation/world. I follow the news and it seems like your commander-in-chief is attempting to pacify the Arab East and the Christian West at the same time, with the same rhetoric. Yes, there is such a thing as being too PC. There is such a thing as trying to please too many people at the same time.

To be fair, it is a historical presidency.

It's historical, all right! Being the first black president is all well and good. But that doesn't excuse the other historical part -- doing more to destroy this country than any other, and at record speed. I know not all will agree, but some will.

Man, I have never seen so many people who knew the intents of the heart.

It's by their fruits that we know them. We can't fully know them, but can make a pretty good guess. You know, if it walks like a duck....

Cuz that is a load of bull Kat. This country was already in turmoil. This didnt happen on Obama's watch. He feels he is doing what is in the best intrest of the country, just like the president before him and so on.

I just hope that the saint are this "awake" for the next president.

It didn't start on his watch, but he's doing things that will only make it a lot worse. A LOT worse, in every way.

I hope everyone is awake for the next president, too.

I don't think anyone thinks Obama is "the Messiah." But they do see him as a "messiah" of sorts given the hugely unpopular Bush years.

The problem is that Jesus is the only frame of reference people have when it comes to idealizing a "messiah" and so they depict Obama that way.

That does not make it any less blasphemous or offensive, but that is where they are at. Obama if he knows about it (and he does, believe me the US government doesn't miss a trick), he should denounce it.

I actually stated what I would do in an earlier post.

I find the picture silly, and a lame attempt to stir up controversy. I find it would be alot simpler to ignore it.

I can show you several scriptures for why he should denounce it.

I can find none to justify "ignoring it." Can you?

He does have a gift, but it's not the gift of being the Son of God. That is a very rare gift. So rare that it's limited to just one man. Barack has an oratory gift if you ask me. He wrote his own speeches and can actually deliver them, unlike his predecessor.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
