i'm not for breaking the law, but in the republic of the united states of america, all laws must comply with the u.s. constitution - and it is the people's job to make sure the lawmakers do this. of the people, by the people, for the people. we are in a unique position here so can't be compared with the way other countries work. it is the people's responsibility to make sure our freedoms are preserved.

I agree...and if the Supreme Court has ruled that the law concerning car searches at random border checkpoints is Constitutional...the we as citizens are obligated to comply with that law. As a citizen the options are limited...but there are options. We can certainly work to change those laws (i.e. abortion) but we cannot dismissively take the law into our own hands and refuse to comply with the law.

I know not all cops are bad, most are good, but many are ill informed about individual rights but are trained in how to avoid legal confrontation. But if they want a reason to do something they cannot only make one but easily can and often do.

I'm glad that we can agree most cops are good. I totally disagree that they are ill-informed about personal rights...and yes, they are trained to avoid multiple types of confrontation. I will admit that it is not always difficult to find a reason for your actions...but is that the fault of the Police? Or is it the fault of the person who makes it too easy? It's the police's job to find things "not right"...its in the training. I get an adrenaline spike when the loudspeaker in Walmart announces "Customer needs assistance." I can't help it. If you are standing next to me and start running away quickly...my first instinct is to run after you and it usually takes a step or two before I realize there is no emergency. Its in the training. When a police dog alerts on a car at a border patrol checkpoint...thats no biggie...it happens. But when the driver locks himself in and refuses to listen to simple instructions or answer simple questions...every cop on the planet will wonder what the heck is going on.

They just had a thing on the news about the rise in parking tickets raising millions and millions of dollars, over a hundred million in some cities. They showed a street where there were several broken meters that you weren't allowed to park in front of that have been broken for some time. But instead of fixing them, they leave them that way creating inadequate parking and when someone out of necessity parks there they get a $60.00 dollar ticket.

Well, which is better for "them," the 25 -50 cents parking fee or $60.00 fine? But hey, its the law and its legal and . . . . oh never mind.

Well, I don't suppose it would be asking too much to put some blame on the people who are illegally parking?? Its not a violation of your rights to give you a ticket for parking illegally. Its not even a violation of your rights to not fix the broken ones. It definitely stinks and I would definitely not vote for city council members who were so inadequate...but you can't blame the police for issuing VALID tickets.

But pay attention to all the laws spewing out of Washington and the states and local governments regulating everything in the name of "green" and security. No federal money unless you qualify (comply). No state money unless you qualify (comply). Wait . . . there is no money . . . unless they take one way or another from us . . . or print it.

Nonetheless . . . they will get one way or another and give it omly where it serves their agenda . . . and not the people's needs.

You will be monitored. You will be regulated. You will be controlled. You will pay more taxes. You will do what you are told . . . or what little you have left of privacy, property and liberty will be taken completely away because to them (government) it is a privilege, not a right . . . and they are amending and passing laws, fees, assessments, taxes and whatever it takes to guarantee the security and safety of their position of power and wealth.

TOTALLY AGREE!!! :) You and I are pretty close politically, we always have been. There is a big difference in violating someone's constitutional rights and enforcing the law. This pastor had NO constitutional grounds to refuse the lawful police orders he was being given.

Hey Axx (sit down first okay) I agree with you!

When government neglect and legislation force the public to become lawbreakers for the bureaucrats own gain and control . . . are the people really to be blamed? You have to be in court in 10 minutes and you have driven around for 20 minutes looking for a parking spot but there are none . . . except for the three with a broken meter, what are you going to do Axxman?

Well...I would be mad as heck! And frustrated! But I can guarantee you that I wouldn't park in an illegal spot. I have a pretty good grasp on how parking enforcement works and they won't miss many infractions...so I won't push my luck.

Your right, it

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
