Yet you can still hear them praising Obama, that he is number one. Then to sing praises to him to the tune of Battle Hymn. Give me a break. You can hear very well what they are doing. It has nothing to do with the parents not being involved in the education of their children. And everything does not originate from the school board. Most are from the teachers, who are teaching their own liberal agenda to children who know no better. Schools are local and parents can most definitely get rid of those on their school board who don't uphold their beliefs. It was done here in my own district last year. I didn't say they weren't local. I'm saying that everything that happens in schools doesn't necessarily originate from the board. It just so happens, though, that the board defended this teacher's actions as part of "Black History Month" and they were just "honoring" what Obama has done. It was also stated that they did another song, the one that goes "Jesus loves the little children" but replaced the name Jesus with Obama. This is from Hannity on Fox. They are the biggest special interest group in the USA, the cornerstone of the Democrat/Socialist Party, and have unapologetically been promoting the gay agenda (which includes worshipping Obama) to our kids. They are the reason why so many homeschool their kids. Homeschoolers are paying double for education with local school taxes without the benefit of a school just to avoid their wicked indoctrination. Can you image them teaching elementary kids songs of praise to Bush or Reagan? I would protest that as much as I protest this idolotry of Obama. It's the Hitler Youth all over again. Get ready for a generation of kids that blindly follow evil. It doesn't matter what you say at the school board level if this sewage keeps coming relentlessly. Does anyone know how can they be broken? Shall we send a prostitute with a camera? Half of my family (including extended family) is in education somewhere and none of them pay any attention to the NEA. The NEA isn't the problem Yod, it is your local school board and the books and curriculum your schools choose, and your schools choose those, not the NEA. I've worked with the people who pick books out here, and my daughter spent a good part of the summer working with what their schools will be teaching in her field...... if you don't like what your schools are dong get involved. I disagree that the local boards don't make any difference. They pick the superentendents and principles and they control the teachers they hire. You can pick any books you like to teach as long as the kids learn the subjects and can pass the tests that the State sets, and your State sets the testing not the Federal Government......
