The title of this thread is Glenn Beck. Keep in mind that Glenn is part of the entertainment industry.

Ok?

Did we get off subject? or are we supposed to discussing his place in the entertainment industry?

Glenn Beck is a Mormon. 'Nuff said.

a.

So . . . . where's the Christian that God raised up sounding the alarm with equal volume and clarity?

Do you forget what Paul (Saul) was before he was saved?

Both men have extreme zeal for what they believe in.

I have heard it said it is much easier to steer a move boat than one tied to the dock.

Pray for him.

I didn't say anything bad about Glenn Beck. I used to listen to him when he was based here in Florida before he got really big. All I said is that he's a Mormon. Nothing good, nothing bad.

Right; that IS the title of the thread. He is an entertainer, more or less, but I was pointing to the fact that an extreme conservative like Glenn Beck is now saying he wouldn't have voted for McCain if Hillary Clinton had been nominated. Too bad he didn't say that a year ago.

:noidea:

No, I was just using that as an excuse to post that. I haven't had my coffee this morning so why would you expect me to make any sense? It's called linear thinking. Some things that go on in one's head are not purposed for one's mouth (or keyboard) and when it slips out...... it makes no sense to anyone but one's self.

And to make it worse someone has to come along and quote it before you sense that it makes no sense and you are left standing out in the open whth everyone going :noidea: and feeling rather dumb.

Actually, my questions are serious and directed to all who feels the need to point out Glen's a Mormon. Most of us already know that.

That is why I ask nonetheless, "where's the Christian that God raised up sounding the alarm with equal volume and clarity?"

I didn't answer the question to accuse you of saying something false. . ..

Again, I asked it to get an answer from "all" who feel the need to clarify his religion as to why a Mormon is the one sounding the alarm?

Have you thought of answer?

Well Glenn IS a Mormon. It is what it is... He was raised a Catholic and converted to Mormon in 1999 when he married his second wife. He is an entertainer as well. :noidea: I don't know that people have a 'need to clarify' his religion - it simply is what it is - He's an American and he chose to follow Mormonism.

He never talks about his religion and it makes no difference. He is outing Obama and his radical, racist, socialist cronies. That is what matters, not that he is a Mormon. We can't witness to him, so let's just listen and learn from him.

The article didn't state why Beck believes McCain would have been worse.
