It has been said, for many years now, that the United States is the melting pot of the world. This is so true, for many come from all over the world to live in a free country. Yet, a fire has been lit under this melting pot. This fire in not a Godly fire by any means. It's origin is from Satan, trying to remove all that is of God from the ingredients. While this is happening, there are some who try to both douse the fire and fight to keep that which is of God within the pot, but due to the skewed numbers, they are failing. Their cries for help go unheard. Soon, the pot will come to a boiling point where it will either boil over, causing a disaster, or the ingredients will burn, which will completely destroy the ingredients.

A picture that needs to be considered. Time is running out ... what are we going to do?

I seldom agree with Newt Gingrich but, in this case, I believe he is absolutely right. It's obvious who is behind the attempt to remove God from our society but, as we all know, his time is short.

This hostility is what John calls 'going forth to battle against the Holy City'. WE ARE THE HOLY CITY. The Magogites hate us. Remember, Christianity was the pre-dominant religion for close to 2000 years. We set the tune and the world followed in obedience to God or they were punished. Christian nations were the former order of the day. Biblically based laws were the order of the day.

But now, Satan is loosed and the effects are starting to become more and more obvious, BUT NOT THE SOURCE. Satan is behind this deceiving of the nations, he is the piper and the Magogite unbelievers are following his tune. They ARE an army, a spiritual army and they are surrounding us, a bit at a time ideologically. Humanism is now the pre-dominant religion, political correctness is the order of the day and organized religion is debunked (especially Christianity, but all of them are despised). When will we see this as Believers?

As for 'what are we going to do?' We're going to wait upon the salvation of our God who will destroy this enemy in flaming fire from heaven. Let it play out. God wins.

Remember, Christianity was the pre-dominant religion for close to 2000 years. We set the tune and the world followed in obedience to God or they were punished. Christian nations were the former order of the day. Biblically based laws were the order of the day.

Not exactly. First, this only applied to countries of the Roman Empire. Second, it was a mixture of Christianity, politics, and Greco-Roman paganism that predominated. Third, it was more like 1700 years.

But that's a long story.

Well, I agree that it is a spiritual battle and we need to do more in terms of approaching this as such and fight on our knees more.

Its really sad that the beautiful free America we grew up in.. is not the same at all anymore....its sooooo sorrowful to see America in this state....If only the Lord would have mercy... but why does not the church call forth A Solomn Assembly...Fasting , Weeping, Praying, Crying Out in deserperation... Repenting......what a shame... so much pride....so much falling away from the Lord and His Word....Yes in His Word , He did warn it would be this way... yet I never in a million years thought It would be in my lifetime......
