what makes it "tediously right wing" amor? oh yeah, the fact that they present BOTH sides to every story. i forgot. anyone who tells the whole truth about something is tediously right wing. the only fair and unbiased people are the ones that force feed the masses only what they want them to hear. LOL, that's rich!

The fact that it is both tedious and rightwing. Fair and unbiased?? It's a mouthpiece for its owner Rupert Murdoch who'll happily tell you what he wants you to hear. He's is also jolly rightwing except when it comes to appeasing Communist China, for his own business interests.

and you never listen to fox news, right? lemme tell ya, i watch all the news channels. i watch nbc, abc, fox, and cnn. fox news reports all the same things that the other news stations report. only difference is, they also report the stuff that gets BURIED by other media outlets. not that they (the other media) don't report them at all, they just limit it to a few words on the ticker at the bottom of the screen, or if we're talking about newspapers, they bury a 2 sentence blurb about it on page 56 or something.

fox news is fair. some of their journalists are biased towards conservatism, and SOME FOX NEWS JOURNALISTS ARE BIASED TOWARDS THE LIBERAL. but when it comes to their REPORTERS, they report the facts and keep their opinions out of it. that is what makes them the only reliable news source out there.

Can you imagine if Bush or anyone from his administration whined about the negative press he got from any of the networks?

Secondly, about Fox - yes, the majority of the anchors et al are Conservative leaning. However, they are often conducting interviews on topics with people representing both sides of the debate. Today I was in a place that had CNN on, and the host of the program was asking questions on controversial topics with guests who only represented one side of the debate.

anyone who truly cares about fairness will see the difference nebula! but when you say "anchors" i'm assuming you're referring to the journalists who have their shows, as opposed to the on-the-ground reporters, right? i guess there are no reporters that hold an anchoring position on any of the cable news channels... including CNN. on regular broadcast news programs, anchors ARE reporters. not so on cable i guess... journalists have shows and reporters get a few minutes here and there.

so i guess if you mean that the journalist show hosts when you say anchors, you're right, most (but not all) are conservative. but the actual reporters are about evenly split.

e.d. hill, is she still at fox news? she was liberal. greta is liberal.... or at least she was at one time. i suspect she may have changed parties. in any case, she seems to not care for this present administration. and shepard smith is also a liberal. very, very liberal. if i spent as much time glued to FNC as i used to, i'd name some others, but i watch more of a variety now, just so i can refute the claims of those who despise fox.

I think Greta Van Susteren has 'jumped the fence'. I always liked her though, even when she was with CNN.
