Let me try one more time. Please

You have been joined to the Israel of God. You are grafted in to their Olive Tree (which is Messiah) but that does NOT make you a jew, spiritual or otherwise.

Do we agree that anyone that rejects CHRIST is not saved YET? But only GOD could know who will be saved?

What you said makes sense by some scriptures and by others it don't. please explain the following scripture.

Ga 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Col 3:11

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all

1Co 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Ro 10:12

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

Ac 15:9

and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

In CHRIST JESUS

Genesis 26

3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

I am not Jewish, yet I am a descendant of Abraham. I am one of those stars!

What I see in this scripture is the seed of faith. That the GOD of abraham is the GOD of the living. not of the dead.

Out of context, well let me tell you I started another thread called Twisted Scriptures in the advice room. Obvisouly to say out of context is one thing, but what I have done is to twist the scriptures to fit my personal needs. I guess that is what we do sometimes when we take things out of context "Eat Drink and be Merry" This could mean lets over eat get drunk and be happy all the time.

However, I took it even step father I not only took it out of context I perverted scriptures so I could live a life not pleasing to God but would be ok because in my twisted world it made perfect sense. This made it easy for me to serve two masters. However, I have relized I can not do this any more and is not what God wants. I still have a difficulty reading scriptures now because I given them double meanings. I can not give any examples via post because it would require not to use apropriate language and some very graphic details. However, I would like some ideas on how I can change my stinking thinking to be more in tune with what God is really saying the scriptures.

Thanks for letting me share

Ray,

there is no need for condemnation of yourself. Just stick with the bible actually says. Most people make the mistake of accepting doctrines without checking what the bible actually says...and by default they have become a disciple of a person or a system instead of the Lord. For instance, I have an uncle who is more baptist than he is christian. You know what I mean?

And that is the same error that is made with the whole spiritual jew topic. NO WHERE does the Bible say anything about gentiles becoming spiritual jews. We have become sons of Abraham only in the fact that we, like Abraham, have put our faith in God.

But to make a leap from there to being jewish is just not biblical. Abraham also had other sons besides Isaac.....Are we spiritual muslims, too?

Jewish comes from Jacob whose name was changed to Israel. Judah was given the blessing of the oldest son because Rueben (the oldest) had laid with Jacob's concubine & the next two sons (Simeon & Levi) had killed all the men in a village over the rape of their sister, Dinah. The head of the 12 tribes was passed to Judah and hence the name "Jews" was first applied to the sons of Jacob/Israel.

The term "jew" can only refer to the physical seed of Abraham because there is a specific promise made to them for the land of Israel. We have all been made partakers of their covenants and promises....and are in the commonwealth of Israel according to Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles in Ephesians 2 & 3. Yet Paul still refers to gentiles as gentiles. Why does anyone want to go past what the bible actually says?

These verses are speaking about our position in the Lord. In other words, they say that no man is better than another.

So why should one desire to be called a jew?

Ga 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Yod I'm not condeeming myself I'm making a confession. IF i could stick with what the scriptures whata a simple answer duh! I wish I could duh! but I changed them so it is hard to stick to it. It is not easy as you make it out to be. I didn't start doing this over night and my stinking thinking will not disappera over night either. I check out what the scriptures says don't get me wrong. I use comenatry after comentary. It does not change the fact that not only I take scripture out of contextext but perveted to seerve two masters. I however, don't think I can make you fully understand either if you think I'm condeeming myself when I'm trying confess a wrong I have done.

And I really could care less about doctrine. I have My doctrine, who needs faith doctrines overther faiths, when my doctrine fits my needs. No Chrsitan faith of any kind would be associated with my doctrine because I have perverted to the truth to fit my life style. I realize this what I have done is wrong and I'm trying to correct it. In my twisted doctrine I could be GOD when the need arose. BUtT I realize that I'm not GOD and that is why bring my confession to you so I can get help.

The rest of what you say makes no sense to me or how I twisted the scriptures. IF you want to condeem your uncle that is your issue. I don't understand how it relates to me.

Like I said I twisted the scriptures although you posted and qutoed someone else's scriptures I have hard time trying to figure out what you are saying applies to me because I have twisted it so bad. I first have to change my twisted stinking thinking in order to understand why you posted the scriptures you did. But thanks for trying to help.

God Bless,

ray

Ray, I hear your frustration, bro. And I think I can understand where you are coming from. You even twisted my "avatar" in your mind

But, I would say this. Is there any unconfessed sin in your life, brother? Have you come to the end of yourself and surrendered yourself to God? Have you come to Him in confession and repentance for the past? If so, then God will heal you. You are right in that it probably won't be overnight.

I had struggled with sin in my past and let it take root. When I finally sought the Lord for deliverance it didn't come right away. It was a long process of focusing on the Lord and becoming more Christ-minded. Slowly, but surely, it began to fade. So, too, I think might be the case with you.

Fortunately, you see the gravity of your situation. Turn to the Lord and wait on Him. What other choice do you have? To continue in lies and error? Of course not. You only have one way to go, brother, and that is up. So, be patient and trust Him.

Right now just pray to the Father and let Him know how miserable you are and that you are sorry for perverting His word in your heart. God will hear that prayer nad honor it. He wants you to understand Him more and more. God puts His word even above His very name, so you can be assured that this concerns Him.

Do you tend to stick to the same bible translation? If so, maybe ditching that one for a while and getting a new translation would be helpful. I mean, if you have a KJV, don't go to a NKJV. Go to a NIV or a NASB. It needs to be significantly different in order to get that fresh feel. Know what I mean? That's just a suggestion.

God bless ya.

The people who never heard, and/or will hear at all they are the ones who will not be judged so harsly. Many people in many contries today know about Jesus Christ, and just do not want to believe in Him, for them they have there chance. For those who do not maybe most are in Africa, and Asia all of the many different areas of Asia, yet I believe many have had a chance, and know about what Christ did so they could, and would be saved, so if they refuse what they know this is not to there benefit. They also in these cases have, and are having a chance.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
