I think that maybe you are disturbed about things you are experiencing or seeing in life each day - that could affect your dreams and your perceptions. Pray and submit all your concerns to God.

I disagree.

God spoke through dreams and visions before. Why would He cease now?

Or do you not believe that God still punishes sin?

Why would you even ask another Believer if they do not believe that God still punishes sin? Not that I feel I must explain to you what I believe - Of course He Does. Does God continually give people dreams that seem to be rather obvious in their interpretation?? I'm not sure.

While i agree the insinuation from Nebula was probably unwarranted, i think it mightve been unintentional?, but i would also ask why do you lean towards these dreams being from something Chiquta ate or other disturbance?.

IMO vivid dreams involving God are usually just that, and these were not fleeting or completley vague as in the workings of our sub conscious.

I dont think warning dreams from God are fatalistic, and are sent so we can avert the danger or warn others to change. They are different from Satanic dreams which are disturbing on a different level, or false dreams of granduer. IMO God does use symbolism and this could be to get us to seek Him more.

Peace to you.

The person posting this has indicated in a subsequent post that she did not feel the dream was of God. Fear is not of God. Things we ingest prior to sleep can affect our subconscious thoughts and dreams.

There is another possibility here, and that is perhaps God is warning her to be careful, because things may happen that will temp her to go in this direction. Make sure you keep prayed up, and in the word.

I said I didn't think the last dream was of God because the content was so disturbing. I said in my first dream I felt fear for God's wrath, like we should not fear of evil.

As far as eating anything... Let's just lay this to rest already, I hadn't eaten anything in HOURS before I went to bed as I didn't go to sleep until 11:30ish. Would you like to know what I did all day and examine that???

It was an all night dream because it went from one to the other to the other - the dreams obviously were not three hours long each - I didn't realize I had to explain that either because I though when I posted this, I would get constructive advice, thoughts, scriptures, experiences - not nonsense like questioning that I might have eaten a bad piece of pizza before bed time.

There is another possibility here, and that is perhaps God is warning her to be careful, because things may happen that will temp her to go in this direction. Make sure you keep prayed up, and in the word.

I think this might be all it is - Although the last dream was ugly - it might have been God allowing the enemy to influence me in my dream to show me what abomination I could possibly commit if I don't get to praying - I might have already opened the door in error. I am only human - a sinner. I am still in prayer for this and will not simply dismiss this dream ESPECIALLY since that is EXACTLY what He was warning about in the dream - that we ignore HIM!!!! Only HE can judge me.

Thank you all for the constructive thoughts -

Because I'm puzzled by the high negative attitudes about this dream everyone keeps responding with. I'm trying to understand by throwing out suggestions.

Why not?

seems to be intresting in that point, if ppl who are confessed their sin to the church, walking a way naked cuz they will be observed and get an attantion putted on if their way really get changed from the wicked.. and yes it can be taken about yrs if they totaly be changed...sometimes shorter...

but also think about this:

Rom.14:13

Therfor let us stop passing judgement on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumble block or obstacle in your brothers' way.

Ohhh - well if that's what you were trying to do - now I fully understand. :taped: I never responded with anything I would have determined negative. The poster, herself, was concerned with this being of God and seemed to have fear and concern. My response was to her regarding her fear and concerns.

Perhaps writing the dream down as you did here and speaking with your pastor? One of your posts indicated to me that you were afraid and worried that it was not of God. That is why I attempted to offer suggestions on what dreams are sometimes affected by and the pathology of dreams in that they usually don't last during every sleeping moment of the night. You are obviously concerned about the dream - talk it over with your pastor. Pray and stay in the Word. Those are the most constructive thoughts I can offer anyone who has concerns. Blessings.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
