interfaith meetings?

what kind of church is this? and what are these interfaith meetings about?

In Reno, Nevada they have interfaith meetings of different religions. It is suppose create an atmosphere of tolerance. It actually brings Christ down and raises the false teachers up. Participants here have been the Catholic Church, Reform Judaism, Muslims, Bahai Faith, United Methodists and numerous others. One publicized event was a Catholic Church Priest exchanging the Bible for the Bagavadgita with a Buddhists priest.

If they are coming together to join religions and to join into a common spiritual war, than that would be a bad thing. If they are coming together to join in good works (ie feeding the hungry, housing the homeless....) than not so much.

Personally, I think Christian organization should have Christians only. The mixing of religions in doing works results in confusion. People see it and think that none of them are convinced they are right.

Or they think that there is more than one path to God.

My understanding of interfaith is that any faiths can be apart of it and it doesn't matter in whom is included. The muslims, islam, etc., as you don't even have to believe in Christ the trinity. But it is the faiths of many groups and beliefs all hooked toghether a deadly combination to me. My opinion is the interfaith is "Apostate"

The Word of God says, That there is only "ONE" faith, not many faiths.

Ephesians 4:5--One Lord, "one faith," one baptism,

It is because of this scripture that makes it clear that their are not many faiths but only one faith. In my opinion of the interfaith is that they are "Apostate"

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Luke 11:23--He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

We are called to "Follow Jesus" and none other. There is only one way faith in Christ death burial and resurrection. There is only one truth and that truth lies only in Jesus as he is our example. The Lord Jesus Christ and his death on the cross gives us life and that is eternal everlasting life this is not physical life but eternal life.

Jesus said, he that is not with me is against me: There is only one household of God for Jesus said, that he was the "door". And whoever follows any other way is "Apostate"
