Please watch the video guys. You are taking this all out of context. He said, that we are guilty because we allowed a president to be elected who is Pro-Abortion by our inaction. It's a great message please listen to it before we get into a heated debate. This is the reason why I started the topic so you all could watch the video and discuss what he is talking about.

It doesn't matter who you vote in, all those running the government are corrupt and have the same agenda. Although it is true that God ordained for there to be government, but not all the nonsense that goes on in government. Unless people were to overthrow the current government and get people in who are not afraid to stand for what is right, things aren't going to change.

I have seen many christian protest abortion and it doesn't change a thing. The "ONLY" solution towards abortion is for people not to get pregnant before they are ready to start a family. That is the "ONLY" way to put abortion clinics out of business.

Proverbs 18:21-- the power of the tongue is life or death....

There is no way whatsoever that one can "speak" to an "unborn" child and cause it to have and abortion.

You can't say that the scripture in Proverbs 18:21 has anything to do with abortion which abortion is wrong and murder to me without question. But the person carrying the unborn child who will make that decision to murder her own child is the murderer not others.

The power of death and life is not referring to abortion but we can say things with our tonuges that will kill others with what we say thus causing people to fall away from the truth never to return again thus murdering them.

While all abortions are murders not all murders are the same as abortion. You are relating Proverbs 18:21 to all abortions and "and again no one can speak to a unborn child and murder it for it is impossible."

1 Corinthians 15: 33--Be not decieved: "evil communications corrupt good manners."

Proverbs 12:14--A man shall be satisfied with good by fruit "of his mouth: and the recompense of "a man's hands" shall be rendered unto him.

James 3:1-12--(leave this for you to read on your own)

Who uses their tongue to premeditate murder beforehand with their tongue in the case of abortion it just is no comparison using the power of death with the power of life and death. All murders are not the same as abortions.

Blien, I did watch a good portion of the video. I don't necessarily care for that style of preaching, but that did not influence my responses.

How can I be held accountable for what the government does with my tax dollars, those people are called to be good stewards same as me.

I didn't vote for Obama, or any other pro-abortion candidate, fact is I voted against them. So I do not see as I allowed anything to happen.

This may be a good message for those folks who choose not to vote, but to insist that we are all guilty is just plan wrong.

we will never get rid of abortion by voting in the "right" people. We have had many a "anti-abortion" President since Roe V Wade and yet the abortion rate today is almost the same was it was then.

the only way to limit and get rid of abortion is to change the hearts and minds of the people of this country.

Your absoutely right! Even if abortion was illegal, it would just be done illegally. Narcotics is illegal, but many still get high. making it illegal doesn't stop the problem. Only if people had no desire to use dope, would that problem ever be eradicated.

You can hack away at the branches of evil, but unles you get to the root, it is pretty much pointless.

I watched most of the video and from what I understood the speaker to say is that if you voted for the one in office who is pro abortion, Obama, then you are just as guilty as the government in place endorsing abortion and God will hold you accountable for it. With this I agree with. He compared it to the murder of the Jews in Nazi Germany saying that while it was Hitler who decreed the murder of the Jewish people even though it wasn't Hitler himself who executed the Jewish people, but he is guilty because he decreed their execution along with the people who participated and carried out the mass murder in the Holocaust.

Christians need to be the moral policemen, or salt of the earth, and know who they are voting for and what they stand for in any election and if a candidate is against any of God's moral laws, then we need to speak up because as the speaker said, "'we, the people," are the government who God has put in place and God will hold us accountable.

The speaker is right, I believe because according to the American Declaration of Independence from England and the American Constitution. The Constitution being the document that establishes a government of the People by the People, and for the People. The Declaration of Independence is the document that establishes the supremacy of the people over the government and establishes the right and the duty of the people "to throw off such Government", and to provide new people for their future security.

The Declaration of Independence states:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. I disagree completely. It's not our job to be the moral anything to the world. It's our job to preach the gospel and build up the Body of Christ.

Abortion was decided by the Supreme Court against the will of the people. Politicians lie right to your face. They say one thing and do another. Our presidents, congresses and courts are corrupt. You can't blame me for one single abortion, so don't try and lay some guilt trip on those of us who live our morals but are overridden by the vocal minority. Next thing you know, someone will be preaching that we are responsible for the epidemics of homosexuality and pedophilia in America. I would stand up and disagree with the person giving this sermon. It wouldn't be the first time!
