i can love my brother... and still tell him he needs to follow the law. handouts are not love. giving a hand up is. allowing people to disregard rules is not love. holding people accountable for their actions is.

what bothers you most about what Americans have posted here? and why?

What bothers me is you have a government who is willing to help the needy, yet you begrudge them of that because some people abuse the system. I don't recall where Jesus said illegal immigrants are not deserving of love. Perhaps you can show me the scripture.

I'm glad you people aren't running Canada, because my family and I would be lying dead in a ditch by now with no one to help us. The welfare system was good for me because they paid to train me to find a decent job. There are some here who abuse the system as well, and as far as I'm concerned, that's between them and God. I am quite happy paying my share into the system if it can help another family like mine, and I know it does.

Quit being so bitter and give cheerfully.

And by the way, it's not all American people that bother me, just the ones who spit venom in the name of Jesus.

I fail to understand what an insult (in that time and culture, slapping someone with your left hand or the back of your right hand - which is the only way to slap someone on the right cheek - was a high insult, sort-of equivalent to giving someone the finger today but probably more severe) has to do with allowing illegal immigrants to take over our country.
