Why does it seem He has hidden Himself from the world? Why doesn't he part seas like He did in Moses' time? Has he abandoned the world and handed us over to satan? I don't understand why He doesn't come already. Seeing the world as it is now, I can't begin to fathom what our future generations will endure. Why has He let the world get this bad? There is nothing righteous left.

I do hope you are trying to be sarcastic. :noidea:

What happened to the peace we have in Christ? Our belief is supposed to give us an inner peace and sense of hope no matter what is going on in the world. Sure, there are bad things going on in the world..but that is just life.

Personally, I am loving my life. Is the world perfect? No Is my life perfect? No. But I have the hope that is in Jesus Christ. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

I have experienced our Lords presence in many ways, including visions that teach. I do not feel a need to gain attention because of them; But I do give witness so that those who struggle in their faith might come to know that there is such a thing as the personal relationship. Early in my walk of faith I have experienced a certain emptiness, much like a 'place' lacking tangibles that otherwise would lend to what we look for as a substance to our faith. Even though it might seem like Jesus asked for the impossible; What are we willing to give for that personal relationship? I am not making reference to money. I'm making reference to who we are and why we are that way in God's sight. It is the giving of a person's life for this treasure which is known only because there are those who have given testimony. What are you looking for as you walk through life?

I enjoy giving witness along side a friend in Christ, knowing each of our gifts reveal the personal blessings of faith. Even in the beginnings of our faith, our lives become a witness that we struggle with things that at one time made little or no difference to us in our sin.

There is nothing righteous left.

This reminded me of Elijah when he tried to tell the Lord that he was the only one left serving Him.

Then he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away."

The LORD said to him, "Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus, and when you have arrived, you shall anoint Hazael king over Aram; and Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. "It shall come about, the one who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death. "Yet I will leave 7,000 in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him."

1 Kings 19:14-18 (NASB95)

It's easy to look at the world and feel that we are alone in it, that all of humanity has turned their backs on God and refused to accept the salvation He so freely offers. It's especially easy to become discouraged when you watch the news. Is there every much of anything that isn't terrible? But the fact is, God never has hidden himself from His children. We have His Spirit living within us so that we are never, ever alone. And I do believe that He shows Himself in the world. I have witnessed miracles large and small. Perhaps He is not parting the seas or speaking to use from flaming yet unconsumed bushes, but He is here. He has answered prayers within seconds of them being made. He has given me comfort and peace when I was convinced I was on the threshold of drowning in my own fears and doubts. I know He is here and believe that most of humanity simply chooses not to give Him the credit for the miracles they have experienced. Every breath is a miracle. Every new life, every person who walks away from a terrible tragedy. God is among us and He still cares. Have faith, my friend! Trust Him to give you the peace and understanding you seek!

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Gal 6:9 (NIV)

God Bless You! :whistling:

God has not left us. His word tells that he will never leave us. He also tells us that in the last days evil will increase and Christians will face tough time, however, He will never leave us and will protect us regardles of the increase of evil. As long as I keep my focus on Jesus and what i am suppose to be doing for His kingdom, i do not worry about nothing else, in fact i am at peace because i know He is with me and will never leave me. Friend, be at peace!!!

Not sure where you live but I know living in America it's easy to say the world is getting so much worse. I always try to be careful saying things like this. America is bad. But God doesn't just work in America. The amount of people that are coming to Christ in China and India, just can't be ignored(I'm sure others are out there). God wants to reach all not just those in America.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
