IRS: Buy Health Insurance or Lose Tax Refund

What kills me is the Liberals saying they have a right to do this because it's the same as making people buy car insurance.

What they can't seem to get through their wooden heads is driving a car is not a right! And people can still choose to not buy car insurance. (They can instead take a bus, walk, ride a bike, etc.)

With this mandate, Americans are forced to buy health insurance with hefty fines hanging over our heads if we don't!

Well, if they are going to do it at all, that's better than creating a whole new bureaucracy. The IRS is already messing with our privacy so if they are going to do this better the IRS than a whole new bunch added in.

Supposedly, they are planning on hiring a lot of new IRS agents. One idea I heard to stop the enactment of this bill is to defund it. There has been talk that if the Republicans take control of Congress, they plan on doing that. I think that is a great idea if they hold to their principles and refuse to back down with the threat of vetos.

I think that would be an excellent idea and hope it works.

As if they don't have enough power and reach already! NO government agency should have the kind of power they have. Especially since they have nothing at all that could be called oversight.

Actually Joe, thay don't need to get into my computer system...... the IRS just has to look at my tax returns and see all the deductions to the First Church of the Nazarine and our church camp "Camp Bond" and they know I love Jesus.

They also know that I know they they know and since I'm an open book, I am no problem to them. The only problem I've had even with my extreme views was when I used to encrypt some of my files and some emails to family that I didn't want just anybody to read.

Well let me tell you that the best way to get your system breached, or a knock on the door if they can't, is to send encrypted emails back and forth to friends or family. And if you have a radical political background like some of you here, they will simply take your computer for about six months while they go over it...... and make you wait and wait to get it back..... and god help you if any of your software or music is copied.
