Anyone with an education, or has seen or ridden in an automobile would know that the earth is much older than 6,000 years.

Did they even have automobiles 6,000 years ago? :th_praying:

Wasn't the original purpose of science to prove that God existed? I thought that was even the case for Archimedes, Galileo, even Einstein?

Yes they did, I still have one. A bit worse for wear, that big flood did some water damage, and wooden wheels are hard to find nowadays.... :D

It's about Jesus people, not about time-lines, floods or accusing brothers and sisters of lack of scholarship. It's about Grace......

Be Blessed

He loves you.

Oh...I SO want to see a picture of that car! :th_praying:

And, yes, Jesus is what it's all about. :th_praying:

Our math is designed and accepted in the infinite set! The bigger our telescopes the more we see we don't see! Our microscopes the smaller we see the more smaller we need to see! All areas of learning and not one has come to completion as to we have learned all that can be learned but more yet remains and even increases as we gain understanding. This is just accepted as naturalism but quite on the contrary I realize we have been born into the infinite and we are experiencing those truths as knowledge and understanding increases. Our faith is about to become sight and we who burn in our hearts to The Creator are about to behold His face.

Rev 22:12-17

12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. 16 "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star." 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

I understand what you are trying to get at, but you have mixed up some things. First before we continue I will say this, big words dont impress me, and insults are a sure way to turn me off from even considering what you have to say.

I talk to my 10-year old daughter in like manner -- not out to impress anyone with basic English.

If you know of a way to tell a group of ignorant people that they are ignorant without it seeming insulting to them, please let me know.

Now, I do believe that there was something that happened between Gen 1:1 and 1:2. Some dont, but this is not a salvation issue, if God allows it to be understood in a greater way... fine, but as I understand it, I am content with what I have learned concerning Gen 1:1 and 1:2. Now I would most certianly disagree that the flood that God sent in Noah's day did not destroy everything that God intended except what was in that ship. I wont say it destroyed all plant life or fish, because it was not the plant , fish, or even animal life that was the problem. The problem was with sinful man, and God's judgement was upon man.

If you can show where man was not destroyed save for the eight as Peter says, then I can walk with you a little further.

I never said that one's relative ability or inability to grasp the proper interpretation of the creation account was a salvation issue. Sometimes, ignorance is just a matter of brainwashing. It is no sin to be ignorant. The true test of one's character is how they react when exposed to the Truth [Pro. 9:8].

The purpose of Noah's flood was to destroy the offspring of the fallen angels -- not all of mankind except Noah's family. Noah, and his family, were all of the Adamic race that were not corrupted by the seed of the fallen angels. If God did not destroy these hybrids, the pure blood line from Adam to Christ could have been corrupted.

For proof that mankind was not destroyed, you don't even need a Bible at all. Just look around -- all the races of people survived Noah's flood and are alive and well today! God created mankind, except Adam, in Gen. 1:27. Nowhere else in scripture did God create all the races of people.

So Noah and his family were not the only survivors of the flood?

Of course not -- look around and see all the races of people.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
