Israel is losing international goodwill through actions like this, regardless of any justification.

What goodwill would that be? Other than the U.S. I can't think of any country that tries to help Israel. Well, Germany has...to a certain extent.

Stephen Harper has stood by Israel all along despite the cat calls from the countries ignorant percentage. :24:

I didn't know that but kudos to Mr. Harper. The Israelis need all the support they can get.

The problem being that while the ship was in the exclusive economic zone, it was not in territorial waters, nor was it in the exclusion zone, for purposes of international law, it was in international waters

If that was the only problem, there would be no problem. You need to understand we are defending our lives here!

The US and western allies went all the way to Iraq, Afganistan etc to combat the terrorists. Do we have to stay home and wait for them to bomb us?

No one is saying we are perfect. We make mistakes same as everyone else. Trouble is we get blamed for anything we do to protect ourselves!!

That is not acceptable!

It's not acceptable for the Palestinians to live under the control and domination of a foreign power either. The proper, short term, solution would be for the Egyptians to open the border crossings allowing the Gazans to be freed from the Israeli stranglehold.

There needs to be much stronger international pressure on all parties to ensure the establishment of a free, independent and secure Palestine alongside a free independent and secure Israel (within its 1967 borders).

There never was a country of 'Palestine' and the alleged 'Palestinians' are squatters on Israeli land. The best thing for Israel would be to deport them to Jordan and surrounding countries and make all of Gaza Israeli land....since it belongs to them anyway. The people that are living there have no claim to the land. Btw, the Egyptians don't want 1.5 million terrorists that grew up on welfare from the world. That's why they keep them out of Egypt.

Proper according to who??? The fact that the Arab nations don't want the Palestinians is telling. One would think that the Arab community would be the MOST sympathetic to Palestinians and would be first in line to offer relief. What we see is quite the opposite. That the Arabs down't want the Palestinians in their communities should also tell you something about the Palestinians as well.

Gaza has become a hotbed of terrorist activity and the Egyptians don't want that in their community anymore than Israel or Jordan or anywhere else.

You seem to favor solutions (like the current stupid "two-state solution) brokered by the international community to the exclusion of what is actually in the best interests of the Palestinians or the Israelis. Anyone who has studied the dynamics of the region would understand why your solutions won't work.

What is a Palestinian? It is anyone living in the region of Palestine. Just like an American. Palestinian is not, I repeat is not a nationality. They are Arabs by lineage.

Also the IDF did grant permission for these boats to land in a protected port, to be searched for weapons and what not, then they would be allowed to continue their "Humanitarian" mission. Instead they chose to provoke a fight, most likely planning on this becoming an international incident.

I watched an interview with a former, us ambassador to an Islamic nation, who was part of the "Humanitarian" mission said "We locked arms and blocked the wheel house from inspection as we were trained." He admitted as well that it was designed to provoke a response from the Israels. He also said they knew that if provoked the response would most likely be in his words "Over the top" He had a very quiet but smoldering anger towards them. He said that "If this had happened in Somalia they would simply be called pirates"

They ignored several warnings, they refused to cooperate, and then turned very violent. This was not a peaceful protest, or humanitarian aid issue. As for the solution, its this, Jesus returns, and brings peace.

More Turkish (Muslim) "aid boats" are on the way! It's a further (violent) testing of Israel's defence against aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza. Obama's weak-kneed support of Israel and his "Non-proliferation stance" (which demands Israel's nuclear capabilities be made public) encourages global hatred of the Jewish nation. Israel knows that she must not trust anyone to guarantee her survival least of all Obama's administration. So called "Aid boats" must not be allowed to fuel Hamas in Gaza lest munitions follow on a worldwide scale. The world's continuing earnest determination is still the elimination of Israel & worldwide Jewry. God bless P.M. Stephen Harper of Canada for his all-out support of God's chosen earthly people, tiny Israel the size of Rhode Island.

I agree with most of what you say, Arthur, and I give a lot of credit to Mr. Harper. However, nothing the U.S. does, or does not do, affects the hatred of Israel. In case you haven't noticed...the world hated Israel from the very day it became a nation again. You are, once again, blaming the U.S. for everything and this is simply false.

Palestinians have been killing Israelis and Israelis have been killing Palestinians for a long time. I don't want to see that continue and the only way of bringing that about is a just settlement that guarantees security and prosperity for all sides. Offer that and people will compromise. As to the extremist, well,Hamas and others want to drive the Israelis into the sea and deny their right to exist as a nation, but is that attitude any different from:

There never was a country of 'Palestine' and the alleged 'Palestinians' are squatters on Israeli land. The best thing for Israel would be to deport them to Jordan and surrounding countries and make all of Gaza Israeli land....since it belongs to them anyway. Which with respect to Morning glory is a nonsensical idea both from a humanitarian and geopolitical perspective. There has been a Muslim Christian and, indeed, Jewish Arab presence in Palestine for hundreds of years. There is no justice in driving even more people from their lands and homes. As to the practicalities of such ethnic cleansing. Well, what do you think Hupo? Do you think the IDF could do it? Do you think Israel could survive in its current state? would you like to be ruled by the heirs of Kach and Meir Kahane?

If the Palestinians put as much money and energy into growing food, building their infrastructure, and things like that as they are building weapons and battling Israel - do you not suppose they would be better off?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
