Isn't it possible that this guy isn't who he claims to be. Yeah, he is the son of a Hamas founder...yeah, he gave some info to Shin Bet...yes, he claim to be a Christian. But really there is no way to verify all this alleged intel that he provides, and the things he was allegedly involved with. The Shin Bet thinks he exaggerates. Maybe he isn't the guy he claims to be.

Nowadays being a muslim convert to christianity is a money-maker...turn yourself into Jason Bourne and they might even make a movie out of you.

I think we need to be a little more critical of these alleged defectors and their tales.

It's very clear sister that our current Government doesn't even believe in Radical Islam let alone Terrorism. The problem as Homeland Secretary Janet Napolitano, an Obama appointee, put it. Is the Conservatives and Christian groups right here in America.

Why wouldn't these Sychophants deport a Christian convert, who will likely be killed for his confession of Faith in our Lord, back to those Peace Loving missunderstood Hamas Patriot's?

He may not BE a Christian convert....or an opponent of islamic terrorism. They have no problem lying to their enemies, Dave. I watched an interview with this guy on Huckabee's show (I'm pretty sure it was that show) and I came away liking the guy but with a little tug at the corner of my mind. I didn't completely believe him. I hope I'm wrong, and if I am, that he is allowed to stay here. Your argument about the DHS is flawed; they believe he's a terrorist and want to deport him. If things are as you say they are then they should be fighting to keep him here.

I wasn't passing judgement. I am merely stating the obvious that none of his story is really verifiable. I can't be the only person here old enough to remember the popularity of commies who defected to the U.S. back during the cold war. This recent influx of muslims who are defecting to Christianity and making some quick money and fame reminds me of the exact same thing. I am not naive enough to believe all of them. If this guy was a high value asset he would be treated like it. This guy is more like a shrewed businessman and self-promoter...and I suspect this recent uproar, caused completely by himself on his own blog, is more of the same.

The problem is that this is not a case of a guy getting being a terrorist one day, and suddenly getting saved and a week later is writing a book and going on TV talk show tours.

First of all, he served as a spy for Israel for 10 years, starting in 1997, two years before he was saved. During that time, he assisted Shin Bet in capturing several Hamas/palestinian leaders. He was saved in 1999 and baptized in 2005. This was not some quick conversion, and suddenly he becomes a flash in the plan celebrity. He was a Christian for 10 years before coming to the US in 2007. He was not known in public Christian circles until 2008.

Usually terrorists blend in. That is part of the deception they are allowed to employ. They drive SUVs, drink Starbucks, go to night clubs and generally try to be just like the average American. They even go to church, but they do not typically work for the Shin Bet and actively work to imprison their fellow terrorists. That would be counter productive. They use religions as a facade. The idea is keep a low profile, to not draw unecessary attention so that they can work and operate without arousing suspicion.

This guy does not fit the usual MO of the terrorists.

We pray for these Muslim people to come to Christ and when they do, we are ready to throw them to wolves over nothing more than unfounded imaginings and suspicions.

The truth is that this administration is pressuring Israel to make suicideal concessions to Hamas and Co. and this young man stands as living contradiction to how this administration wants to deal with Hamas. This administration is treating Hamas a like legitimate political entity, and this young man shows that Hamas is nothing but a brutal, bloodthirsty brood of murderous thugs. This young man is walking testimony to the truth that the Obama administration would like people to forget about.

You don't completely believe him, based on what??? What has he done and what evidence has come to light to warrant this type of suspicion?

Yeah, like it or not, Obama and his ridiculous policies toward the middle east do come into play.
