I think with time and as science develops, more and more proof will be discovered that will confirm what the Bible tells us. It is a matter of time.

It is fascinating for some to try discover our past but the conclusion is that the information is never enough to conclude anything for certain. Living things which sorrounds right now are yet incapable to explain even though there is better understanding of them. Our discoveries are glimpses of God's creations.

Well Berlitz calls it a SEAPORT, which given the location of the Andes Mountains, (Near the West coast of South America), is quite reasonable assuming that at some point in the past South America was drastically elevated to its currant position. More reasonable in fact than calling it a lake port, BECAUSE PEOPLE GENERALLY DON'T LIVE AT THAT ALTITUDE, though they can briefly visit.

If that was built before the Andes were elevated, I doubt there would be any remains left. Upheavals are quite violent, and the crust would not remain one solid mass. Those ruins would have ended up in pieces, in canyons, covered over, and scattered.

Plenty of civilizations lived in that high altitude in the Andes. Inca, Chimu etc. There are plenty of Andes lake civilizations too. And often speculated on by some weird ancient aliens visited us groups as well as reputable archaeologists. Berlitz was not an archaeologist. I wouldnt take his word for it.
