I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein. Hosea 14:4-9

.... Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore." (Eze 37:16-28).

The new covenant is made with "the house of Israel and the house of Judah"

PROBLEM: Unless Ephraim (whose seed became "the fullness of the Gentiles" refers to any [and all] Gentiles who are grafted into Israel among its tiny [mainly Jewish] remnant, then Ephraim and Judah ["the house of Israel and the house of Judah"] can never be reunited and become one stick – because you're more likely to find and positively identify the lost ark of the covenant than you are to find and identify all ten Northern tribes of Israel and positively identify them, because their descendants have intermarried with Gentiles in the nations for over 2,600 years.... Throw your rocks, guys and girls. I love you anyway

OK! :)

Faithful

Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:20

Is The Rock Of Our Salvation

O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Psalms 95:1

And He Will

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Joel 2:32

Do It

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.

And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.

I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.

I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Labanon; and place shall not be found for them.

And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.

And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD. Zechariah 10:6-12

Hallelujah!

I do think its when all who will return to Him from those scattered into the nations, thats when it will be complete. Yeshua came for the 'lost sheep' of Israel, they weren't really lost but God gave them over to the nations, scattered until the time of restoration is complete. Israel is all who believe, who return to Him, no matter genetics or what have you just as in the exodus of Egypt all who walk in faith belong to Him. The fulness would be the completion of all who 'keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah' and it brings the end of the age into the olam haba, the world to come or the Millennial reign of the Messiah. Ephraim the younger son was given the birthrite of the older son to become a greater people than his brother and we see that Ephraim was the largest of the tribes of the Northern Kingdom and in many instance we see Ephraim being called Israel or that the tribe represented Israel to the populous.

interesting..does olam haba=the resurrection?

I would think it is. It is the world to come, thats the best translation. I'll even go out on a limb and say it is the Garden of Eden that was removed from the earth after the fall and its whats causing the birth pangs, the coming kingdom of God. I have often thought that its the place where we all go after death waiting for the kingdom to come to earth. I of course don't have it all figured but its an interesting and fascinating subject, theres a woman named Dr. Diana Dye if you can find her stuff on the net I would recommend her work on this subject. All I have are a few youtube so can't post them here.

i've heard it translated 'everlasting place' but you're right it's hard to get an exact translation. your explanation of 'the fullness' is appreciated since it lets scripture interpret scripture, as it should be. so thanks for the clarity you've given on this issue.

Is "the fulness of the Gentiles" an actual number of people or as many that come to Jesus before He returns?

It happens right after a big dinner

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
