I'm going to surmise that, since anyone has minimal police powers (eg. citizen's arrest) the Mexican police will surveill and/or hold "perps" (for NYPD) who they find harrassing/killing/etc other Mexican nationals, but that they don't have authorities such as breaking into homes of suspects or being able to obtain warrants unless through the regular NYPD channels. If this is the case, I see no problem with Mexico using their own resources in the same way a US citizen hires a bodyguard or private security firm.

Paging the Second Amendment. Second Amendment, please report to New York. Also, the right of detention is only for exercise by CITIZENS, which these people are NOT. They absolutely NO authority here, not as police, not as citizens.

This is, if true, nothing more than an attempt to implement Tenet #12 of the HUmanist Manifesto 2 which reads in full as follows:

TWELFTH: We deplore the division of humankind on nationalistic grounds. We have reached a turning point in human history where the best option is to transcend the limits of national sovereignty and to move toward the building of a world community in which all sectors of the human family can participate. Thus we look to the development of a system of world law and a world order based upon transnational federal government. This would appreciate cultural pluralism and diversity. It would not exclude pride in national origins and accomplishments nor the handling of regional problems on a regional basis. Human progress, however, can no longer be achieved by focusing on one section of the world, Western or Eastern, developed or underdeveloped. For the first time in human history, no part of humankind can be isolated from any other. Each person's future is in some way linked to all. We thus reaffirm a commitment to the building of world community, at the same time recognizing that this commits us to some hard choices.

C'mon. Everybody has some rights in this country. Even if you're "just visiting". And, truly I don't mean to be contentious, but what has the right to keep and bear arms have to do with this situation? Should NYC start licensing firearms willy-nilly so that people can form militia groups? I know that illegals are a huge problem for this country, but the solution is at the borders, not on city streets.

If the police power of a foreign national is given authority in an AMERICAN city, it becomes a Second Amendment issue.

Regarding the licensing of firearms, NYC has no right to restrict the Second Amendment. Intelligent Americans everywhere should be armed to protect themselves against the depradations of wicked citizens and illegal aliens alike. Our forefathers would have stood for this for about as long as it took to gather the militia. Then they would've given a lead lesson in the Constitution that such people would never forget. It's about time the American people stood up for themselves.

You're right about that. If this is allowed to go forth I suggest rioting in the streets. I'm sick of our wimpy government letting Mexico do whatever. Why? Are they important to us in ANY way? I'm so mad my hair is starting to frizz from all the steam. I don't know what I'm going to do but this is simply the last straw. Remember, in order to come in, they have to be issued visas. Unlike the 12 million other illegals that are here. I simply can't stand any more......

Write to your representatives. Send signed petitions to the White House. Participate in protests in the streets. But this talk of militias and rioting in the streets greatly saddens me. It is NOT Christian. The majority of Mexicans are Catholic. They love the same God we do. How can we, as good Christians, ignore that and feel so much hatred towards them? They often live in near-primitive conditions and know there is opportunity in this country. They're not terrorists. Our government is doing a lousy job of controlling immigration, and for all I know it's because of some weird covert plan on their part. But let's try to keep some charity in our hearts.

Well THIS Christian doesn't hate them at all. I have many Hispanic friends, co-workers and even some of my cousins are Mexican descent. My rage is only toward the idea of allowing a POLICE FORCE from another country (and I don't care if it's Denmark or Uganda even) to come into the U.S. and do ANYTHING. Just....no. There is no way to justify it and it's in violation of American law.

First, most of them are probably here illegally and are bankrupting our country. Secondly, why do you think that God confused the languages and separated the people? We are all equal in the eyes of God, but we don't owe foreigners anything. Let alone criminals and their corrupt governments and police forces. We are having enough problems all by ourselves.

Absolutely! And one of our biggest problems (going back twenty years or so now) is the fact that our government is collectively and completely insane! Note that many of the same people who were in Congress in 1990 are STILL in Congress. Therein lies the problem; New York City is simply following the path set by our esteemed incompetents in the legislative branch. House (and Senate) cleaning time is on the horizon now. Let's not waste the opportunity.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
