Just remember, we all have our weaknesses. Just because you become saved doesn't mean you get a brand new mind. We have to constantly renew our minds to God and his word, otherwise, we allow satan to deceive us and we end up falling on our faces. The difference with public figures is that the media, which is controlled by satan for the most part, love to blast it over the airwaves when one of these people get in trouble who have professed their faith. Keep renewing your minds to God and his word and you are keeping satan from tricking you.

Personally I think that most celebrities become christians because either they want more attention, or are losing attention and decide to try the christian viewers to get them to buy their stuff.

I'm not steriotyping, I'm just saying that I believe most of them are. I just think it's a little odd when that it usually happens after they've started to loose their fame or when they're thrown in jail and want to get back into the mainstream media...but not considered unmoral people.

I don't think so...When an actor claims to be a born a Christian you automatically know that there Hollywood career is over.

But whats it worth if you gain the whole world but lose your soul. Is you Hollywood image more important then God?

Thank God for people like Stephen Baldwin that is willing to put his Carree on the line to follow Jesus. He considers Jesus a pearl of Great price and he considers all other things as loss so that he may gain Christ.

Well, Hollywood or not, celebrity or not, it comes down to a matter of the heart doesn't it?

With TV and all kinds of information and ways to track people, there will always be the good, the bad and the ugly in terms of role models. From any point of view - you will have opposing opinions yelling at the top of their lungs at each other. And bad models that will amplify the target practice at Christ's name.

A few years ago, God impressed upon me to pray for the music people. To pray for people like Eminem. I think he will get saved. And I think the absence of faith on many Christians hearts will keep them cold in their prayers. Praying forces change. It activates faith. And faith is the currency of the kingdom of God. We don't receive salvation except by faith.

So........I may have sounded off topic here, but I wanted to draw your attention to something. Let's not lump these celebs in any category. There are only 2 kinds of people in the world: those that know and are saved from sin through Christ, and those who don't and aren't. We need to uphold these people (the ones saved) in prayer as much as the person in the coffee shop accross the street you would like to see come to know God.

Doesn't matter what they do for a living, just how they are going to spend eternity. It is a long time to be in the wrong place.

Remember, the bible tells us we may be surprised when we get to heaven, there may be people there we thought for sure wouldn't be, and vice versa.
