Whew! I am so sorry how your pastor treated you. I don't think you should have had to leave the church. My heart goes out to you and the people not responding to you in your greatest time of need is the result of the heart of that church (pastor).

I believe that you and your husband need to talk to him with other witnesses and resolve these things with your pastor. A pastor is there to help not send away.

i agree, go to God, think about how it hurts God when you slip, and more and more, you will turn to God

think of Job, t h i r t y_____ s e v e n____ l o n g ____ c h a p t e r s___ of Job listening to those ratchet jaws who didn't know nothing, and finally in ch 38 God asks him some questions. He might ask you the same ones, but it boils down to God was proud of Job, even tho he felt sorry for hisself for a while, but God restored Job two fold, and He did that to Job so you and I could learn from it.

God bless you for being so honest. I can only imagine the pain you are enduring. I can relate to some degree what you are contending with. You already know what you must do. That is not your problem. The pornography is satans tool and a powerful one at that. Trust me I know. When I found Jesus and started learing his teachings, I finally discovered how lost I was. Smoking cigarettes and drinking beer daily, and tending my carnal needs just as often. Its wasn't the tending part in which I could see my sin, but the lust associated with it. The earthly pleasure in control of my loving side. I can attest that abstinance is quite handy. Tend to your carnal needs as you must but resist indulging. Your husband on the other hand is where this problem stems. His Lusting and need for overindulgence in the carnal will be his undoing. I beg you both to Join together in prayer and ask for help in healing this rift in your union. Only TOGETHER and with The Good Lord's help will you be able to cast out these impurities.

In Jesus name I pray that you bith invite him in and ask his forgiveness for your transgressions. I pray he restores peace to your hearts and find in that peace you union strengthened and renewed and together you can cast out those unwelcome influences in your life and relationships. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

I am stunned that the lady over the group meeting had to ask her pastors permission to offer you some counsel for something she herself had already went through.

I mean, it seems to me she could have had you over for coffee or taken you out to dinner on her own time and then offered you some sound advice if she needed permission to at church.

What is even more stunning is the fact that the pastor told you to go confess your feelings to your pastor!! UNREAL!!!!

That caused alot more hurt than was necessary to more people than was necessary.

Yes absolutely, your pastor should have been able to handle the situation but he didnt and here you are. I think you need to know that when everything is said and done that God is the absolute only one we can ever completely trust!! Never put complete trust in people to do the right thing and you will never have to feel the way you do now. People are just that, people. God never left you and He never turned His back on you. Seek Him before you seek a church, seek him with your whole heart before you seek out a person.

If you do your outlook and expectations will change for the better, because God will never leave you or forsake you, He's not just in those buildings!!

This was handled wrong from the get-go, move on with God and learn from it.

Hi,

Yes there is help for your problems. I was once bound in similar sins and could not brake from from its chains on my life. It almost destroyed my marriage and much more my relationship with God. I prayed God to deliver me so many times but deliverance never seemed to come until one day God led me to this site which has given me the knowlege and the tools to overcome my bondage to sin. Today I am set-free.

I don't know your name, and I didn't want to address you as struggling. God is all-knowing, and there is nothing that enters your mind that He is not already aware of. Your thoughts--none of your thoughts--takes Him by surprise. As a matter of fact, God sent Christ Jesus so that you can have victory over every thought that sets itself against Him and His will for you. You mentioned that you have stopped praying and reading your Bible, which are the two most important areas that we as Christians can never neglect, especially when we are struggling with thoughts, which will eventually display themselves in our actions if not dealt with, that exalt themselves against God's perfect will for us. You first need to confess your sins to God and accept His full forgiveness. Then you need to begin doing the very things that your mind obstinately object to right now--reading the Word of God and praying fervently. God's Word is His will. We find hope, encouragement, reproof, guidance, and correction in it, among other things. You cannot simply acknowledge your wrongs to people and expect to experience victory. Go to the lover of your soul right now, repent, ask Him to meet with you. He will give you wisdom and power to defeat the enemy upon asking.

Your sister in Christ,

Brenda

Hi, First of all MS is a very hard illness for the whole family you are not alone.I know its harder for you and sometimes you just want to scream when everyone else says how rough it is on them.. Tell them to feel your pain youd like to say but you dont... Moving on I read all the post and then your final reply and the one thing that struck me was that you said and forgive me if I get this wrong, but the talk of demons gets you nervous. Well it should replace that word with the enemy ie satan as in any good soldier trying to win the battle he knows what devices or weaknesses we have and will gladly take advantage of them. Also remember people are human I dont care if tey are saved or not some are going to fail you we have to stop getting our feelings hurt if so and so doesnt call from the church should they? yes but here is where the enemy must wage his battle what good does it do him to fight with people he already has? you know your situation and so does the Lord stay grounded stay in the word and above all pray I would like to hear a response from you I am concerned Linda

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
