A recurring dream within the past 3 years

Jeremiah 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, "let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

Daniel 2:27-30 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, show unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the "latter days". Thy "dream", and the "visions" of thy "head" upon "thy bed", are these; As for thee, O king, "thy thoughts" came into "thy mind" upon "thy bed", what should come to pass "hereafter": and "he" that "revealeth secrets" maketh known to thee what shall come to pass. But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.

Hebrews 1:1-2a GOD, WHO at sundry times(different time periods) and in divers manners(different ways as Moses, Daniel, Ezekiel and many others God revealed his word to these in different types of ways ) spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these "last days" spoken unto us by his Son.....................(being the only begotten Son of God which is God's revelation to mankind revealed or made known unto us that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.)

Revelation 1:1 an angel revealed what the role of Christ would be in the end times John wrote and recorded what the interpretations of it all was as he had visions and dreams and the angel of the Lord revealed or showed him the meaning to them all and he recorded it in a book known to us as Revelation. John sent copies of the book out to the seven churches along with individual letters to each of the churches containing a message from the Lord.

The point is there are no knew revelations to be added to the Word even though their maybe visions and dreams. I think about Herod in how his wife was troubled in her dreams and she asked for the head of John the Baptist on a charger. The Lord may give the gift of knowledge in a dream revealing something to you personally for his purpose maybe to protect you from harm etc.,

But we have a more sure word of prophecy............

Herod's wife did ask for the head of John the Baptist on a platter (or at least got her daughter to do the asking), but it was Pilate's wife who was troubled by dreams and asked Pilate to have nothing to do with executing Jesus.
