The People Appear To Have Spoken

To say that this election is pivotal is probably overkill. Superlatives aside, it appears that the people have spoken and their message is loud and clear:

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

A big thanks to all of you who voted, and to those who didn't, shame on ya! It is your privilege as an American and your duty as a Believer to vote and elect righteous people to our government. If you have failed to do so, please don't complain.

The republicans have the lower house but any legislation they pass will not make it through the democratic Senate. If by some chance it does, the president still has the veto. It looks like health care reform is safe.

If the three to close to call races go the way us Conservatives want them to, then it it will be a Split senate. NO majority.

Things could get interesting.

I hope that the Heath care monstrosity, (of which I actually read a good deal of before my mind melted) goes away. It is NOT about health care it is about government control. Thats the issue I have had with the bill from the get go. We HAVE to pay for abortions, yes its in the bill. YES if your to old/Sick you will be told its time to die. The Death Panels are in the bill. Yes we will increase taxes to pay for this. Yes you will be FORCED to buy a service, which is against the constitution. Which I have read, and carry a copy of with me.

Health care reform had a few good points. Such as making them cover pre-existing conditions etc. But those were only the icing on a poisoned Cake. I know because I read the bill I did not take any ones word for it.

BTW If the government struck down regulations that stop insurance company's from competing state to state that would fix a lot and drive down costs. Something the bill did not address. The bill did not address the issues of doctors being paid by pharmaceutical companies to push there products at huge prices. The bill did not address the issue of a band aid being 5$ and a Tylenol being 30$ Each. This is called price gouging, it is an issue that we need to address.

Honestly....about the only thing that so-called "health care reform" bill will do is give people like me better jobs....and that's about it.

I'm getting antsy about our Governor's race...I think South Florida is counting the ballots by hand....everyone's saying it's too close to call....I swear that if Alex Sink wins, I'm moving outta Florida...she will SINK this state...Scott's the lesser of two weevils....he's ahead in the polls by probably 2%, I just wish they would just declare him the winner so I could try to get some sleep....this is NOT helping my insomnia any at ALL.....

Nope, the Senate has several new members who ran against Obamacare and swore that they would repeal it. The numbers are very close and some of those Democrats know that their jobs are on the line in the next two years. This Socialist nightmare will end.

As an example I would urge you to examine the new Senator from West Virginia. Then there's Senators like Joe Lieberman who will caucus with the Republicans on issues like this. These guys can read the tea leaves.

Your other problem is that the new House will simply defund all of the Obamacare mandates (like the money needed for the excessive new number of IRS agents needed to enforce it) by fiat. Therefore, it will not have any money to move forward.

The President's Leftist Agenda got body slammed last night. He'd better wake up, however, I believe he will continue with his arrogance and try to ignore the Nations will.

So explain this to me.. what advantage does winning the house give? And what about the current Senate does it mean Obama will still have power to do what he wants?

I'm Canadian so we have a different system up here..
