Hallelujah and Praise be to the Lord!

One thing I would like to add here if i may...

a lot of times people help a person find the Lord, lead them along the way with the prayers and all...but then once the person is saved they believe their job is done....

its not, you then have to tell the person how to hold on to the Lord afterwards....otherwise many of them don't know waht to do next and are left hanging...

remember to read the word EVERY day....more than once a day if you can, pocket Bibles are great for taking iwth you to read while you wait at appointments or during lunch breaks etc....and don't just read, pray first and ask God to show you what HE wants you to read, i've been doing this and then i let my Bible drop open and its always at something very appropriate for that time....

Also prayer is very very important, that personal communication between you and the Father himself....a quiet time of prayer each day ....and also prayers in your mind and heart all through the day...

I find that my thoughts are always prayers or conversations with God lately....i'll be going about my business and talking with him in my head in the midst of it all...

A good Bible believing, Holy Spirit filled church would be on the agenda of things you need if you don't already have one....

PRAISE is very important....for he loves our praise...he can only flow thru praise and worship....play Christian music, raise your hands, and sing to the Lord whether or not you ar ea good singer or not don't matter, it will be beautiful sound to his ears....just call out to him in song or praises....sometimes i stand i my room (especially when i'm in a "battle" of some sort) with my hands raised and just say, Thank you Lord for saving me, thank you Father that you love me, thank you for healing, for deliverance, for your peace and presence today, I praise you Lord for who you are, I thank you Lord for what you've done in my life, I give you all glory and honor and praise this day, Hallelujah, Praise your Name Lord...etc etc etc....jsut giving him all praise you can utter out of your mouth....speaking them from your mouth makes the enemy run ...he cna't stand it...

There are other things that come later on....but the main things are the reading, prayer, and fellowship ...those 3 things...they will keep you grounded in the Lord....

the "high" you feel may last a few days even if you don't read or pray but in time it will fall away, but if you keep in his word, pray, trust, obey, and worship and praise him as well as have fellowship with other believers, you will find that each day as the days go on you are feeling closer and closer to him and more in love with him as time passes by....

Congratualtions on receiving the greatest gift there ever was.....and ever can be...

Brother Steve,

Do you hear the Master's voice? Do you hear what HE is saying?

He said, "Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." [Luke 15:6,7]

It was probably hard to hear HIM with all that rejoicing brother.

Be Blessed,

Wayne

Hi

I am new here so I don't really know you, however, you are now my Brother. Pretty amazing eh! Well, congratulations and welcome to the family. :P I pray that you will now find peace and happiness in what the Lord has to offer. I would urge you to read the Word, pray every day and worship God as much as you can. You don't have to get down on your knees and close your eyes or clasp your hands together to pray. You can pray where ever you are, whatever you are doing. Although a regular time alone on your knees is also good for you, it will bring you closer to God.

A little word of warning. By making this decision you have made the devil angry. He will try to tempt you all the time. But don't worry, your sins are forgiven. Just trust in the Lord and he will carry you through. When you read the Word, the Lord will give you something to carry forward to help you.

So in the meantime, rejoice! You are going to live forever!!! :D

Big Steve,

The very first night you left your posts I was looking through the topics and saw your topic on why would God accept me and the one about is it too late. It was pretty late that night and no one had responded and I wanted you to know that it was never too late. After that post I said a prayer that God would lead you to Him and make it real to you. Praise God as He has answered my prayer. I am very glad to hear that you are now my brother in Christ. Pray for me as I will be praying for you.

Love in Christ,

Strservant

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
