We are seeing a rise of people demanding democracy. As the TV's are covering these protests we also see young, energetic, tech-savy individuals organizing in things such as Facebook.

So are we witnessing a new age of people from different religions living harmoniously?

Muslims and Jews living in peace without a peace treaty?

We do it here in the US so why not abroad?

Democracy?

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: Romans 13:3

Or The Removal

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 (NASB)

Of The Restrainer?

Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 (NASB)

P.S.

Amor,

The radical Muslims who are spoiling Europe right now with protests. Are they the product of poverty and slum like living? Have they been subjected to years of despotic rule?

Peace,

Dave

What are you on about? I'm not aware of any continent spoiling protests, and unlike you I actually live here. Wy don't you visit us and start distinguishing between reality and fantasy.

You know doggon' well that your own Prime Minister has stated that it is time for these Muslims to assimilate into European culture or be gone. You also know why. When they reach a certain proportion of the population, like they have in France, they begin to intimidate and take over through force. That's what the Prime Minister in Britain is afraid of. Actually, I feel bad for your Continent. You've fallen prey to secular humanism and leftist socialist ideology like the nonsense you're spouting here about poverty causing "Day's of Muslim Rage."

The fella's who slammed the airplanes into the World Trade Center on 9/11 weren't poor in any way, shape, or form. They were Radical Muslims like the ones in Egypt who are stirring all the discontent.

Peace,

dave

Cameron has waffled om a little about the importance of creating a new and "inclusive" sense of British identity, but he's not talking about expelling anyone. As to France, I go there quite a lot it's not been taken over and is not under threat of being taken over by crazed Muslims. As to Egypt, are you really trying to tell me that people weren't suffering under Mubarak? Or that his regime wasn't corrupt and oppresive? Do you not think it is not natural or normal to revolt in such circumstances.

You have a rather creaky conspiracy theory and are trying to bend world realities to fit it,but they don't. I suggest you give the works of Tim Lahaye and Hal Lindsey a rest and get in touch with reality.

Sadly, my dear friend, I am all too in touch with reality.

Never read any Lahaye and Lindsey is a genius.

France burned in "Days of Rage" not too long ago.

I will not stop calling a spade a spade. The fella's who slammed fully loaded and fueled airplanes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11 were not poor oppressed minorities. They were rich upper class Whahhabi Muslims who in some cases belong to the Saudi Royal Family or had connections to such.

I'm sorry if the Truth is inconvenient for you but the Leftist Ideology you spout about poverty being the cause of the" Day's of Rage," tearing apart the Arab world, and the hatred towards Israel and the U.S. being because of poverty are utter nonsense.

It is because of Islam that these folks have labored under brutal dictatorships to begin with. They have a Spiritual poverty and the physical follows that. I know that this is a foreign concept to you, but the physical follows the Spiritual.

Peace,

Dave

It is possible that the masses living in poverty joined the revolutions for this reason, but when it comes to who started the revolutions and how they got started . . . one sees a different picture entirely.

Parker1, could you elaborate a little on what you mean about "not letting your guard down against Satan and his illusions?" For I agree with your comment as a rule of thumb in all of life. But I was curious on what you meant specifically in regards to this particular topic? Just interested on your thoughts. Thanks (for more clarification on your remark, regarding this thread.)

My opinion? Maybe this is all purely a political thing going down. But when I first saw it happening on tv and the magnitude of it, I couldn't help wondering if there is anything of prophetic significance to it. What do you think, family?

I'd love to hear you weigh in on your opinions on this angle or perspective: Could it have to do with the end times? And if so, do you have scripture to support this ? I'm no prophecy scholar by any means, but I learn as I go and it does fascinate me. I'm always interested in world events because of Israel and the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I agree with Matthitjah and MorningGlory that poor Israel is always being put through the wringer! My heart aches for her, for she is the apple of God's Eye and I have felt a connection with her ever since my teen years. Loved her then, love her now and I always will. :emot-heartbeat:

Sorry I'm so slow in responding. The prophecies and Scripture in general teaches that until the Second Coming, there will be no peace on Earth. Muslim and Jew will not live in peace. I believe that the only time that Israel will believe that it is "safe" is during the Tribulation, when the Anti-Christ will have made a 7 year treaty with Israel. Then he will break it after 3 1/2 years.

Ezekiel 38:10-12 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan: You will say, 'I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates' - to take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land."

And, Ezekiel 38:14-16 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes."

The deception of Satan is that there can be peace in Israel. If we believe that, then we cannot believe that what the Bible teaches is true; or may believe that the time is not near and we neglect The Great Commission.

Every war, Christian nation or other, needs cannon fodder. It has always been like that, and always will be.

I don't have to read any book to know this.

I just have to listen to the lyrics of Dylan's "Masters of war".........

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
