Lucid dreaming is associated with different cults. It is also a practice in Yoga, OBE and mind control. Knowing you are dreaming in and of itself is not where the danger is found. It is what you do with this that may lead people down the wrong roads. You should look into the dark side of lucid dreaming to know where the dangers are.

On the site you posted to define lucid dreams there is another type they describe as WILD (wake initiated lucid dreaming).

They teach how to initiate lucid dreaming.

What do you think about this type?

Do I think it's sinful? No.

Can it be sinful? Of course. But than again, so can daydreaming. Plain ol random thoughts running through your head at any given time can be sinful.

Wake initiated lucid dreaming is nothing more than very vivid daydreaming. You're in full control of what's going through your head. You have the ability to stop it at any time.

Lucid dreaming will not trick you into entering any dark areas. You're in the drivers seat, you go where ever you want to.

I know it sounds like I'm promoting this stuff but I'm not, I'm just stating the facts. I have lucid dreams and I couldn't make it go away even if I tried.

No, I have no reason too, I'm never gonna go there. I know what the devil is capable of, I've seen it. I don't need to study it.

Whenever I am in a dream and realize I am in a dream, it is always a precursor to me waking up.
