Now Obama wants to give money we don't have to Japan

Now Obama wants to extend aid to Japan. While the whole tsunami/earthquake disaster is bad, as I asked concerning Israel, WHERE IS ALL THIS MONEY COMING FROM? How about we let some of the other nations of the world take the lead this time? What part of "We're 14.5 trillion dollars in debt" does Obama not understand? We've aided every nation in the world for years and years. Many times, those same nations have been ungrateful. When will America learn?

Don't get me wrong here, by all means, we should participate in rescue and recovery operations with our available assets in the area, but when it comes to throwing billions of aid dollars to the Japanese, that is where I draw the line.

Japan and Israel are our true allies. We should help both of them when they need it. They would both do the same for us. In case you are forgetting, Japan is a vital asset in controlling China.

Not even to mention North Korea is in that general neighborhood, too..... can we really afford to let China and North Korea swoop down and obliterate an alliance such as Japan while they are crippled by this tragedy??? I don't think so.

We are doing exactly what we should be. Using our assets in the area to bring off rescue/recovery operations. Actually, the Chinese are not a military threat at this point. They have a lot of common sense, more than we give them credit for. They are more interested in economic control than military control. As long as they can sell us cheap stuff, they are happy. We're their cash cow. Not only that, the Chinese keep the November Kilos in line. So then, the Chinese are somewhat of an ally as well. But we digress.

The fact of the matter still remains that the US cannot afford to be the world's Good Time Charlie anymore. We can't throw money at problems anymore. We need to use far more common sense in how we deal with problems and with foreign aid.
