I have no doubt that if left up to God he would have rather given Bin Laden ever second up until the time of his second coming to see the light not lose another lost soul to Satan. Though I rejoice with everyone else over the fact that Bin Laden's reign of terror on this earth is over we should not rejoice in the fact that he died without knowing the real GOD for Ezekiel 33:11 says:

Scripture needs to be balanced, though. But I do agree we should not rejoice at him burning in Hell. But we rejoice that he can do no more evil on this Earth. Psalm 82:3-4 "Defend the weak and the orphans; defend the rights of the poor and suffering. 4 Save the weak and helpless; free them from the power of the wicked." We don't rejoice when an evil man dies, but we do pray for and desire that His will be done. Often that means we desire things that aren't exactly pleasant. Believers shouldn't rejoice in this.

I equate the mindless celebrations that we saw to the Palestinian women we saw celebrating on 9/11; or to an intoxicated football fan when his team wins the Super Bowl. Hopefully, those who are Christian show a little more restraint and reflection. Blessings! -Ed

He's a Just and Righteous God/man. He doesn't rejoice in the death of the wicked but ultimately there are times when He will slay them. This is not murder. It has been estimated that upwards of 6 billion souls lost their lives in the Flood. King David killed many wicked men and he was called a man after God's own heart. We have to stop this pacifist mindset in Christianity. It's going to kill us all and then we will be of no use to the Kingdom. I have no problem with the celebrations. Yes, some of them may have been misguided. However, there is a huge difference between the celebrations in the Arab world when 9/11 happened and the celebrations when Osama was killed and received the Righteous and Just end to his reign of murder.
