Our goal in life must be to love God, because God is love, and we are created for love. Furthermore, we can find true peace and joy only when we love God; because then we become what we are created to be. Since God is love, to love God is to have a deep desire and commitment to express His love in our life; and to do nothing that is displeasing to Him. Jesus showed us that God is unconditional love. This love not only forgives our sins but became one of us, showed us forgiveness and compassion and sacrificed His own life for those betrayed Him, were unfaithful to Him and killed Him. He showed us that to be good is not to just to fulfil one's obligation, but to go all out to help others.

It may seem impossible to love one another as God has loved us. But. God gives us His sacrificial body and blood as real food. Therefore when we faithfully receive it, by God's grace, we can have His sacrificial life and love one another as He has loved us. To faithfully receive this food is to sincerely desire to accept His sacrificial life. We may be afraid to accept His sacrificial life; however, if we have the slightest desire to accept it, God will give us the strength to accept it. We must therefore pray for this desire with a sincere heart knowing that our hope and joy comes only from our faith in the God revealed to us in the person of Jesus.

Our goal in life should be to die gracefully and make sure that all our friends and half our enemies end up in heaven with us at some time in thier lives.

But that does fall under "love" does it not?

The friends part definately yes....... sometimes though the enemy part is just a duty..... that may not be the right way of looking at it, but it is realiey. Most of the tiem when you turn an enemy to the Lord they become friends.

It's difficult for me to say that I love my enemies even though I know I'm surpposed to..... but I usually do my duty concerning them and right now that's the best I think I can do.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14--Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. vs. 14) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

If you love me then keep my commandments

Now That's Grace With A Capital P

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
