At a congressional hearing on Muslim radicalization in U.S. prisons, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) said investigators needed to analyze �Christian militants in America� because they too might try to �bring down the country.�

So I�d like to hear your thoughts, do �Christians� pose a threat to the country, as some would like to think?

Just a point, not being a citizen of the US, but it stands for my country as well. One group from here even "invaded" a neighboring country and was quickly dispatched...

If we, as Christians, were doing our job properly, as directed by Jesus, it is not the militants people who don't believe should be worried about.

They should be worried about us...

And in my opinion there is nothing wrong being militant about one's faith, depending on the definition of militant.

ie... ONE GOD, ONE SON, ONE SPIRIT, ONE WORD and no other way.

I know well you know this but all our lives has been in use of force of physical natures to provide outcomes... perhaps it is the highest of despised when all is given to Spiritual obediences as Christ showed forth- people call it passivism... but I see it as let the body and the world come against us to see if we are truly Spiritually alive in newness of being... for unless we are born again unto the obediences of Christ Jesus and live in the realities of the world that is to be and not the one that is passing away... how shall we say we are citizens of His Kingdom that is to come? It echoes in my heart the sounds there shall be wars and rumors of wars and family divided one against another and I am awakened in the midst of these truths...

as we are passing through these doors of the last days make sure your door Has Christ Jesus on it!!! Know it will not be more than you can bear that which comes against us if you enter through His door "The Word of God!

How did I miss this thread?

Radical Islamist is not just a religion, but a governmental institution. Christianity is not a governmental institution. It is like comparing apples and oranges. Yet, in Christianity, there have been, still are, and will be those who claim to name but walk in darkness. They are not Christians, but can march under the banner if they so chose to.

Anyone who can bring danger to the lives of another is well worth watching. Will any group take down the US? Only if the US is willing to allow this to happen. The question arises in my mind is if those in government are wise enough to see tomorrow through the pride of today's accomplishments? We, as a nation, has its roots in being the melting pot of the world. This cannot change if the US wants to remain here with open arms. The problem are those who cry "Big Brother" as they also cry for "Protection". This is not limited to any one group or person. Even the Muslims seek protection as they fight to live here within their own culture and religious belief, but cry Big Brother when Sharia Law is put into question. Radical "Christians", if I can use this term, are no different.

It does not matter what group it is when they try to force people to live as they want to live. This alone is un-American. Being a melting pot means that we blend together to make a whole, not that one part over runs the rest to become dominant.

There is, however, one way of life I look forward to, and that is when God rules as He is meant to rule.
