The Angel of the Lord is omnipresent psalm 34:7, acts as the voice of God Gen 22:11-16 and when ever someone see's Him, they claim they have seen God Judges 13:22. The translations I read are KJV, NKJV,NASU, YLT which will give me a leaning to the meanings in dispute and then

I love NKJV I use many translations though. I'm not going to go through verse by verse to defend, but I will adress 1 Corinthians 1:18, context is so important.

I don't believe that the Angel of the Lord is Jesus. The reason is that the Angel of the Lord announced the birth of Jesus. Jesus was already in the manger when the Angel of the Lord appeared to the Shepherds (Luke 2:7-12)
