Hi everyone. I am new to these boards but not new to Christianity.

I accpeted Jesus back in 1993. Over the years, God has blessed me with many things. I was born with a congenital heart defect and on Nov 3, 1995 I recieved a new heart.

Over the last year or so I have found myself straying further and further away from Him. Alot of bad things have happened to me and because of me, and now I need to get a new heart again. Part of me thinks that this health trouble (now) is punishment for something I regret doing, but have never told anyone.

Part of me doesnt want another heart because I have been in and out of hospitals for the better part of 30 years.

Of course part of me wants to live, but as time ticks on, and my heart slowly deteriorates to the point of loss of function, I fear that I dont have enough time to get right with God and with my life.

I know that God is loving and forgiving and everthing, but lately I havent felt strong enough to accept everything thats going on.

I guess Im here looking for support and friendship. The churches in my town have all blackballed me, based on their own agendas. Its sad to say, but these Christians are part of the reason that I severly doubt everything. Christians are supposed to be loving and forgiving and caring but instead they all judged me and pushed me away from them.

I have nobody of faith I can talk to or lean on when it comes to learning how to walk again.....

Anyways, thanks for your time

Godbless

French Phenom...Firstly welcome to Worthy.

Secondly I hope you can find some loving support here...often it can take years before Christ is truely 'formed' in some Christians and they live defeated lives that do not reflect the Kingdom of G-d ...mostly because they are immature...or bring with them some of the baggage of the past and their own personal weaknesses and have an incomplete understanding of the heart of the Father or the great salvation that has been won for them through the blood of Jesus.

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

4:20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand

1Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

May G-d bless you and keep you and give you His Shalom.

Welcome to worthy Phenom

I fear that I dont have enough time to get right with God and with my life.

Good news Phenom! You can get right with the Lord now. Turn to Him, in prayer, and let Him know how you feel. Ask His forgiveness. Recommit to Christ. He forgives sins, and He is just thrilled to have you back to Him.

French Phenom I hope you know that this is a very welcoming place with many loving people that have faith in the Lord.

Physical health issues, especailly relating to the heart, affect many people with emotional battering, particularily depression.

Depression fogs our thinking sometimes, but the truth is getting right with the Lord is a simple matter.

If you have sinned, even a lot of sins, repent (turn away from doing them), ask Jesus to forgive you (He will), ask Him to help you forgive yourself (He will), and be clean by the faith that you have in Jesus, for He will never leave you nor forsake you (He promised), and His promises are good.

The bible teaches that the joy of the Lord is our strength. If you focus on your health problems, or for that matter on any problems, joy is not the result.

If you focus on Jesus Christ, who he is (Your Lord), how much He loves you (oceans of love for you), how much He holds against you (that would be a big fat zero-nada-nothing), there is joy.

Remember and realise that He has gone to prepare a place for you, so that you can come (at the right time) and live with Him forever, in a place where there is no hatred, no pain, no tears, no sorrow, no evil, no health problems, and everyone that also loves Jesus with a true heart will be there with you, and most of all, you will see the Lord always, and feel the love that flows from Him always, it is the very atmosphere of heaven, as air is the atmosphere of the earth.

Each of us has troubles, but having to have the physical heart replaced would be, in my thinking, a lot to go through, and you have already done that once. Consider His great mercy and grace that He allowed you these extra years, so that you could come to today and restore your love for Him with your brothers and sisters that also are a very mixed bag of dented souls (Believe it).

Probably all of us here have had our times of shallowness and failure so that we don't consider ourselves as being better than other men, we have just received mercy and kindness from the Lord to continue on with him, loving Him and His people. I am glad that you are here.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
