Few Perspectives on The Apostle Paul

Ok Dave, my name is Mike, Im for calling a truce we both have made our statements and know where each other is coming and you are saying what you percieve as me elevating Paul above others, of coarse i see it differently but thats the case.

I am blown away though at the amount of feed back from simply saying things that others havent heard, like there is nothing else to hear or be heard. Heritic is a good word that fits the mindset toward a few simple threads.

I am for getting into a deep study if you and maybe others are willing, my opinion is it needs to be done in a little more private setting to keep from having to get into whats going on now with so many throwing things out so fast i cant keep up, holler if you wanna

The revelation Paul had was of Christ and he went on to say that was the gospel, Gal 1:11-12. Pauls gospel was not of some kind of an end time event or any other thing, it was Christ, the indwelling Christ. Paul had other revelations concerning the body of Christ and said he would come to revelations but the gospel that was revealed to him was Christ.

Paul's revelation was not of eschatological matters. He was an apostle of Jesus Christ, commissioned to evangelize and plant churches.

Paul had no personal gospel but the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Paul made statements like "follow me as I follow the Lord", dont know if we should get into that right now, but if we are going to go on in the Lord you will have to follow Paul through the scriptures. He was given this grace to give to us he said.

Funny thing I felliwship with believers all over the world and our own people in this nation have the hardest time accepting certain things in the scriptures that are plainly writen. Most feel like I am trying to convince them of something, far from it, only the Holy Spirit can teach Christ. Those I know that have had a revelation of Jesus Christ as their life can only confirm to other believers that are seeing Christ as their life, no man can teach you Christ.

Its the hungry in heart that come to revelation, its based on grace there is nothing you can do to get it, it just happens but you as a believe need to know that it even exsists, religion cant tell you, many in ministry cant tell you, only those that have had a revelation can tell you that it exsists. The revelation of Jesus Christ doesnt come in a package that you are looking for it just happens in your Fathers timing, Gal 4:1-2.

Yes, the revelation of Jesus Christ and His cross can only come from His Spirit, and most often He uses His trustworthy people who have that same revelation to communicate it by the power of the Spirit of God. We pass it on, and on, and on until He comes.

Paul may not have used the phrase but Jesus did, and I am pretty sure that I fall under the { no one } category of the above statement and I'm guessing that you-all do to....
