What evidence do you have of that? It's a pretty serious charge.

Here is my proof - " Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils " 1Tim4:1

I know by the Holy Spirit of GOD and this is my belief, Simple !

Brother, therein lies the problem!

It is one thing to have a personal conviction, which is all well and good, but you step into condemnation when you force others into obeying your personal conviction.

If you have proof that the KJV is the only English bible we should use, bring it to the table, but personal conviction is not good enough.

You make it obvious in the post below that your conviction is not just for yourself.

Why do you think what was good enough for every man of GOD like Moody, Spurgeon , Edwards, Wesley etc is not good enough for you or anyone else ?

And here...

The Authorized Bible was here nearly 400 years before your NASB and it did not need revising :noidea:

You have removed words, you have added words since the Authorized Version. WHY ?

And here...

I believe that "modern" Bible versions have been tampered with by satan who is highly underestimated in this wicked, aoostate and reprobate age.

I really don't know what to take from your posts other than that the KJV is the only english bible for everyone today.

I just have to say that KJV is my bible. I defend every word. When I was just beginning to trust the Lord I prayed over my Bible and asked him if there was anything in here that was not from him to please put that in my heart. I've read it through quite a few times and never heard him tell me something was wrong with what I was reading. It's words led me to the Father. Praise the Lord forever.

Thanks for listening to these links Botz and although Mr Miller presents some good points i agree that it was not a sound argument.

I have one more link for you to listen to that has corrected me regarding the Authorized Version (not KJV) and would ask you to give it your time. I said i would not hassle you any more Botz ;) but if you give your ear to this sermon by Dr Frank Logsdon and not find it educational and edifying then will eat my words.

Hi TLF,

I did try to listen to the audio but it didn't work properly, I tried to find the same link but failed....so I listened to a few other things around the same subject.

If you re-post it and check the link I will listen to it properly. I will always look at anything in order to determine what is true, especially if it is a subject

like this that seems to create such a stir in some quarters....it is important and needs addressing.

Something I have been considering during our conversations and exchanges is that this internal controversy that divides the house of G-d does far more

damage than some variant readings that have been sincerely produced by worthy people whose one desire is to bless the Body with their skills and to

utilise the wealth of information now available to us through the discovery of far more pieces of documentary evidence...all of which have gone to prove

how accurate the authorised version was and is...and how helpful many of the modern versions are proving to be. They do not try and pit the one against

the other but to see the hand of G-d working in such a way through the years that everything that has been discovered compliments and strengthens what

has gone on before...establishing the accuracy obtainable in King James' time using limited and later manuscripts...to the accuracy displayed in these days

having access to a fuller and broader range of manuscript evidence.

I think it is fair to say that the L-rd has preserved His Word in a far more miraculous way than just through the 1611 AV...He has not been limited to it by any

stretch of the imagination...it is man that has sought to make this a religious doctrine and claim they have the seal of G-d to their opinion/belief.

Nicely said Botz.

God does work through His Spirit, teaching us His truth, and it does not matter to Him if you have the KJV or the NASB. This argument only divides His body, exactly what Satan wants.

If you want to hear hardcore Pro KJV teachings i would suggest you listen to Pastor Bryan Delinger: www.sermonaudio.com/kjvbbf He was influenced by Peter Ruckman and has a big library of study materials plus he makes alot of sense.

Satan would want to corrupt the word of God through men like Westcott and Hort who weren't Christians (easy to prove). The Bible Version is not about dividing the body of Christ it is about getting the right Bible so that you can have that sword of the Spirit - Ephesians 6

Dont settle for less dont grab a sword that is not really a sword and that has little impact against the forces of darkness. We are in a spiritual battle and the devil fled from Jesus when He quoted the word of God to him.

You miss one very important factor in all this. The Holy Spirit. We can do nothing without His Spirit to empower us, and His Spirit will always teach us the truth. Trust in God and He will build you up.

Ephesians 1:

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

I'm sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, do you think that i need anymore power? Just asking.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
