Once again Welcome!!

As you draw nearer to God, by having daily one on one time with Him... He will not only speak, but will guide you into the area you are to serve Him. Lay before Him the things that is stirring in your spirit to do for Him and the Kingdom. Also search the scriptures...for they are the promises pertaining to your calling and will serve in some many areas of your life...by encouraging you.

Be ready and willing to follow through in what He will reveal to you through the Holy Spirit. Don't become discouraged when you sometimes don't...repent with a whole heart ...get up and start again. One of the tricks of the enemy is to stir up fear in us as we seek to serve and be more like the Lord. He will also continue to bring things up from the past trying to make you give up. But I say to you today...you are on the right path...because of your heart to do His divine will....and that is to walk in the victory and deliverance He has given...plus be a force in the kingdom to help set the captive free.

Never stop seeking God...concerning the things that will bring Him honor and glory.

God bless

Thank you 2Joyful. Sometimes I think it is hard for me to remember that we are human and fallen from grace. Also that temptation is a daily battle front for each of us. Not to say in the least that condones, or excuses sin. More or less...that it is just part of our daily war with it. Seeking God is something I strive to do so now more than ever. A relationship with God really, in essence is what keeps me sane. Especially when things get difficult. Not that when times are rough should be the only time we go to stand before God and speak with Him. He should be sought daily.

Did I promote another forum? If so....I am sorry. I do not recall doing such.

Still feeling a lot like everything I do is pointless...especially when I fail.

In the bible there is a lot about parenting, and how important it is to teach your children about God. Nothing you teach them about God is pointless. They aren't to young either to start training them up to know God. I am a parent of a 21 and 19 and 15 year old I started when they were young and I have had some problems with them along the way not real bad ones but problems but I am so happy that I took the time to teach them about God and about his word. So your life isn't pointless. I am not the greatest with words but my heart is understanding.

Carebear,

Thank you very much for your insight. You make a good, strong valid point. Teaching my little ones about God is important and that is something I would and will not regret doing.

May God Bless You

Dani

dani,

if you want to write, write! you are not a failure. but satan will sure make you think so if you allow him to! truth is, there is no easier time in history to get your words published... and not just published, but read! there are so many opportunities available to you! blogs, ebooks, print on demand publishing... back in the not so distant past, writers who self-published were not taken seriously in the literary community. that is SOOO not the case anymore. quite the opposite in fact!

don't let fear hold you back from your dream. don't waste time fretting over the lack of support you're getting from other people in your family, do what you love! ask God to give you wisdom and to pour out his Spirit in your writing.

start with a blog... lots of free blogging sites... and send me the link once you've got it up. i'll subscribe to it!

Lady C,

Do you know what I write? Might change your mind once you knew. If you are not a big fan of LOTR......odds are my works are going to be disliked a lot by some Christian populus. Taking some factual happenings in my life as well as people and putting them in a Medieval setting in a fictional tale...there are some unbiblical types in there.... but they are needed to bring about the reflection of hope for change...

....Already explaining myself....yikes.

Know of any good sites I could do this at?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
