The thing about prophecy is that often times its not recognized as such until after it appears. Obama care to mark of the beast? I dont think so, If Im reading the Bible correctly, we will have a one world government first, and then the mark of the beast will show up, so the things arnt falling into play. And as far as the "micro chip" is conncerned, someones been reading waaay to much left behind. Granted, those were good books, but Im not convinced they got everything biblically sound, they put in a LOT of writers imagination.

They got lots wrong, LOL. The timing of the rapture, the literal MOTB, etc.

lol and theres the other thing about end times prophecy, there are soooo many different ways to interpret it. I can literally, sit down and debate both a pre-millenial and a all-millenial viewpoint convincingly. With that being said, Im neither, Im a pan-millenialist, I believe it will all pan out in the end. I dont tend to enter end times debates often either, while I enjoy a good discussion, these often turn into a heated argument and then creates division, so I tend to avoid them-why create division over something that the only 100% way to prove anyone right is to wait for it to actually happen. . .

Exodus 13:9"And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD'S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt."

A sign upon the hand and between the eyes where have we seen this before? Revelations 7 perhaps.

So if obedience to the commandments is the seal of God is it much of a stretch that the mark of the beast (the lawless one) is commandment breaking?

As far as buying and selling goes all that takes is packaging everything with the beasts image for a logo and only those who break the second commandment would be able to purchase or sell products. Yeah its speculative but who doesnt know about the mark of the beast, wont it be a little obvious if its a physical thing, wouldnt even nonbelievers think it peculiar that they need a mark or rfid to buy and sell? Not as if it isnt possible to be a physical mark but subtlety is the trademark of the serpent.

ObamaCare is the next huge stomping of the jack-boot on American liberty & ingenuity. It's a socialist's clarion call to remake the USA into Europe II. Hello Greece! Hello Portugal! Hello Ireland!

Come on. I LOVE that series. So a few mistakes were made. NO ONE can be perfect in understanding. It has far more truth than error in it. With its record sales and Millions coming to Christ because of it, I think its safe to say God has his blessing on it. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. A few mistakes doesn't mean the whole thing is wrong. Tim Lahaye has been a prophesy pastor for over half a century. Lets not be TOO harsh with this series that Godly men took great care to write as biblical as they knew how to.

I am not in the pre trib camp and I have honest reservations about spreading a message that we are going to get whipped out of here before the real trouble starts. To me, that is a message of false hope. He may be a 'prophesy pastor' (what is that?) but it doesn't make him infallible. If you enjoyed the books, that is great, but read it as fiction, because that is what it is. If you want a biblical account, read the bible!

Unfortunately, selling many copies doesn't make it "godly". Can you point out where millions came to Christ because of his books???

I personally AM a pre-trib person. I do see that as scriptural. Until proven otherwise, I cannot see that as error. By prophesy preacher I mean that is his area of greatest knowledge. His biblical specialty in a sense. Maybe selling millions of copies doesn't necessarily mean it has God behind it, but I think it does give weight to it. Even secular series NEVER sell like that. Don't so easily dismiss it. Lets not put limits on what God can do. That series may on fact prove to be MORE truthful than you realize.

With all due respect, even a broken clock is right twice a day. If God wanted to give us more information about the end times, He would have given it to us in Scripture before He closed the canon. This is, sadly, fiction. I am not putting limits on God, I am working within His stated guidelines.

GOD'S word should be what our faith is placed in, not any work of fiction. No matter how good intended it may be. That is all the Left Behind Series was, FICTION.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
