HI LYNDYP, I just want you to know that my prayers go out to you, Also I'd like for you to understand where we're coming from. We are no better a person than you are, we are just one BEGGAR telling another BEGGAR where the FOOD IS  So all we're saying is, it is WRITTEN that homosexual is FORBIDDEN and is an ABOMINATION in GODS EYES, Now GOD has good reasons for this and HE knows what is BEST for us ( avoid unforseen problems ) We do TRUST HIS judgment for he is GOD. Now the being GOOD part, The BIBLE says THERE IS NON-RIGHTIOUS NO! NOT ONE, So NO ONE GOES TO HEAVEN, Because ALL HAVE SINNED, says the BIBLE, But GOD has provided a WAY, But this WAY is going to be COSTLY, And the COST IS THE PENALTY OF DEATH, But the TWIST to this is GOD will send his OWN SON JESUS to pay for that COST, Which is DEATH on the CROSS you heard about ( the movie passion ) So what GOD wants you to SEE is that you know what you ARE, and know what you deserve ( death and not HEAVEN ) But if you BELIEVE what his SON has done in your behalf, " YOU WILL BE SAVED "...And JESUS SAYS, NOW GO AND SIN NO MORE............TAKO

I highly doubt other religions worship dead gods.

If you knew God, then you would know that He is the only Living God. The gods of the other religions are dead. Beleiving in them leads to death. They have no power to save anyone or to intervene in lives. Only God can do that. Im sorry UF, but a spiritually dead person doesnt understand spiritual things.

I just have a couple of things to say...

I know, as I'm sure many people do on this board, what it's like to be a non-believer hearing these words...it's hard, God doesn't challenge us to make easy changes in our lives!! When we meet with Him He moves us towards what is TRULY right as opposed to what we FEEL is right.

For myself I had incredible struggles (and still do with temptation) with drugs and drink when I found the love of my Lord Jesus...

you say you feel God has made you the way you are...you are also a product of your environment, of your every waking moment in this fallen world since your birth! God hasn't been the only influencing factor in the shaping of who you are today...you don't know Him, you don't know His world, you only know your own and the thoughts and feelings of a world and life lived WITHOUT a relationship with God. And it's THAT world, YOUR world/environment that has brought you to the feelings and pain your in today.

when I say pain, your soul is in pain girl...you feel as if this (being gay) is the right thing because 1/ it feels good and 2/ the culture we live in today says it's ok and because you've grown up in this culture it's had an instinctive effect on how you feel towards the subject. This is not God's culture. We as humans have stolen God's world for us away from Him and tried to justify it with our culture. This leads to all of our confusion including your own...

you think being gay will make you happy because it feels good. but i can promise you living in relationship with Jesus and moving away from your sin (sin can feel good) will lead to you living a life of more joy and abundance!!! I can promise this to you from the bottom of my heart!

you can choose not to like God that's up to you...but know this...He will always love you and be willing to help you find truth...real truth...

I pray this can happen for you one day.

God bless you

Simon

Well, I believe that we are not to have intiimate relationships (sexual) with members of the same sex nor with anyone who we are not married to of the opposite sex, so I would answer your question, yes. However, that may not mean a life alone or without a mate. I know it may seem impossible now, but if you give your life over to God, He will transform you and in time, you may find a Godly man who will treasure you above all other women and you may learn to love him. It is possible, even if it doesn't seem like it. I'm still praying for you.

That's between you and God. Do you have a relationship with the Lord Jesus? Have you received Him as your Savior? There is a provision for some believers to live single celibate lives, but for others that is not the case.

that sounds like a great idea!

the apostle paul saw celibacy as a gift from God, "I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.

Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am." (1 Corinthians 7:7-8)

simon, amen!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
