I have no desire to raise a debate on this matter so I will let it drop but I must say this answer does not satisfy my curiousity of the matter. I will grant you that it may be my own blindness that brings this about. But I can only be who I am.

If they were without knowledge of good and evil how were they to determine who to listen to? With no means of judging right or wrong they were at the mercy of whoever they spoke to. When God told them not to eat of the fruit of the tree they were ready and willing to comply. They had no means to judge whether God was good or evil. They were without the knowledge to discern this.

That is why I believe that the knowledge of good and evil was given, so that we would not be merely a robotic creation of God's. He desired for us to "freely" love Him, and choose to seek good or evil. I don't think that God intended for man not to have freewill. I believe God gave man the ability to have freewill/know the difference between good and evil. But, man was not able to free himself from evil. He was given understanding to be able to recognize that he is a sinner, now he also is given remedy for that sin..........it is Jesus Christ, if man so chooses for the good/life rather than evil/death.

Deut. 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Job 34:4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

Job 34:33

Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

Ps 25:12

What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Prov. 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

Isaiah 7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

Isaiah 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

Isaiah 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Isa 66:4

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

In His Love,

Suzanne

God Bless you Dad Ernie,

Much Love my brother. :il:

I want to speak of the last Adam to Az. Firstborn of the Spirit of God

By Adam death reigned. He ate and surely died. He became disconnected from God. He had to believe by Faith that God would one day raise his own seed to Crush the Serpants head. He gave up his rightful place to sin.

The last Adam, Jesus Christ bought it back. He became man in fulfillment of God's promise. That His Word was True.

Quote By Dad Ernie

(Nowhere in the scriptures does it say that God created Adam and Eve PERFECT, instead, it is interesting that He looked upon each of the first 5 days of His creation and called it GOOD, then you might expect that on the 6th day, God would look upon His creation and say PERFECT! But He did NOT)

Yes, satan was created perfect, the Annointed Cherub! also with the other angels. They were all given the choice to follow God or not. Now think about this, before sin came into the world everything had no choice, but to be PERFECT. Maybe what God said was good and very good in His eyes was really PERFECT! without flaw or blemish. The Almighty, Perfect God could not create in the first place anything less than perfect!

Greetings Carly49,

Please read and think about the following:

Romans 8:20-23 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Here is the Greek for the word "vanity":

3153 mataiotes {mat-ah-yot'-ace}

from 3152; TDNT - 4:523,571; n f

AV - vanity 3; 3

1) what is devoid of truth and appropriateness

2) perverseness, depravity

3) frailty, want of vigour

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

I heard a sermon recently and thought I would write on it. WHY IS THERE NO REDEMPTION FOR SATAN? God created him a beautiful angel! When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin came into the world. Did Eve eat of the fruit by her own doing? They both were perfectly created by God, and were perfect. No she didn't by herself eat of the fruit. She was tempted! Then instead of saying NO to the tempter, she did eat and gave also to her husband, and he ate, thus sin. WE, TOO, HAVE A TEMPTER and So God sent His only son Jesus to Die on the cross for our sin. But, satan DID NOT have a tempter, he chose to think himself higher than his creator, therefore, was cast out of heaven and many angels followed him which are now known as demons.

Where did you hear that at?

In CHRIST JESUS

Yes we have a tempter, but...

James 1:13-15

When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it's full-grown, gives birth to death.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you an stand up under it.

The Serpent sure knew where to find them, yeah? I guess they could have spent a lot of time hanging out by that tree.

Yeah.. Id expect things to be a bit different for beings who actually lived WITH God in heaven itself.. I dont see how it would be at all possible for them to get a second chance, they knew exactly what they were doing, first hand.

I'd have to agree with Alecia 100%. We are the ones looking through a "glass light darkly"

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
