I'm sure it could. But let's not play. The House knows full well that their vote is purely political theater and will be of no effect. The only ways to stop it is to have the Republican Party take over Congress and put Obama out or de-fund it. Keeping it could have some unintended consequences, too. Like doctors walking away from medicine.

I don't think that will happen Parker....

They are already talking about. Another unintended consequence is having to wait for months to get an appointment. I suppose you think that won't happen either?

It's one thing to talk about it, and altogether another to actually do it. I just don't buy it......

LOL. Just look at England. You think it will be any different here? Really?

This bill is not giving us the system that England or Canada has.... I find it hard to believe that you all don't seem to understand that.

This is some expensive theater.

Not even approaching the cost of ObamaTax!

It is also the reason that congressional approval ratings are so low.

No, that is because the Democrats didn't allow negotiations, and Republicans were mostly impotent and disorganized.....OR went along with it.

Face it, some day the ObamaTax is finally going to be negotiated in the open so everyone can have input, AND we can make sure that health-care is all that is in the bill. Most of us don't want to give government doctors the power of life or death, and we don't want the IRS involved at all!!!

Call it what you want, but it is still socialized medicine. I find it hard to believe that you don't seem to understand that.

Maybe it's because I've read most of the bill instead of listening to Fox News. You know, where things like the Mark of the Beast Threads come from.

I agree. That was my point. This type of thing is why the congressional approval rating is in the teens.

The congressional approval rating being in it's teens has a great deal to do with the healthcare bill. Because the point that everyone carping about congress wasting money trying to repeal it continually overlook is very simple:

The American public does not support Federalized Healthcare.

The American public, a good 75% of them, want Obamacare repealed. They don't want it to ever take effect. They don't want the "bill" at all and never did. It isn't even a bill and was never passed as a bill, legally, it is simply a big bloated tax. And America doesn't want it, didn't want it, won't want it in the future.

The biggest reason that congressional approval is in the teens is because people realize that the candidates they voted into office no longer represent the constituents, the people who voted for them, they represent themselves and their own interests. But in this one case, congress is actually trying to do what they are mandated to do, and people are whining about it. If it is a waste of money to do so, then you are going to have to explain to me why it is a waste of money to attempt to do what your constituents who voted you into office want you to do and why things like unfunded entitlements, junkets to foreign contries to constantly apologize for America being America, funding guns for Mexican drug cartels, endless stimulus packages and bankrupt company bailouts are not wastes of money.

Well, under the present conditions of our government, it is a waste of money to symbolically "repeal" Obamacare when they know that Senator Reid will never let it come to the floor. They should just de-fund it. But they want to use it as a political tool on both sides of the isle. The Republicans want it on the record that the Democrats are for a bill no one wants and raised taxes on the middle class; the Democrats in the Senate won't vote on it because Reid needs to protect the vulnerable Democrats from having to vote on it at all during this election cycle. Anyway, like I said, just de-fund it and the game is over. The Senate not the President won't be able to do anything about it.

Well, I won't insult you like you have tried to do with this post. How mature. You and I are done here, other one

If you defund it without doing something about the laws that have gone into affect of making Insurance companies accept pre conditions among other things, you'll destroy the insurance industry and our whole healthcare system will collapse.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
