Why is Magog targeting America lately?

Anyone who has half a brain and a smattering of common sense can see that Satan's army, magog, has been specifically targeting the US more of late.

Gay rights/marriage, illegal immigration, gun crime, trampling the Constitution in various ways, and so forth. These have all been here to a degree for years. BUT LATELY, it's been getting insane...and some of it is coming from our government, federal, state and even some local governments.

A lot of people probably wonder why. Some blame it on the 'antichrist', or claim the 'great tribulation' is coming or here. Others say it's just a cycle and it will ebb and flow. I've got a different take.

America is the last of the Christian nations. Unlike Europe and the Middle and Far East, we've managed to hang on our Christian heritage. Barely mind you, but we're hanging on. For how long, only God knows. Little by little, day by day, the foundations are eroding into rampant humanism. More and more, tenets of the Humanist Manifesto 2 are being enacted into law. Green-ism. Gay rights. Mockery of religion.

In order for Gog to have full sway and launch his final assault against Christianity, America must fall. The last Christian nation must be destroyed so that individual Christian groups can be crushed piecemeal. Magog hates us and everything we believe in and stand for. They don't even know they're being led by Satan. They're marching merrily down the primrose path to Gehenna, with their invisible master playing the pipes. They think that man will eventually throw off religion and establish his own utopia, not realizing that they have bought into the First Lie: You shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

That is a pretty sweeping comment..... And one I disagree with entirely.

Disagree all you like. That's your perogative. South Africa, your homeland, was once a Christian nation as well, founded if I recall by the Dutch Reform Church. I'm not sure when the DRC went into apostasy, but it did. Are Krugerrands still the money of your country, or did Mandela and the socialists steal them all? What happened to Christianity in South Africa, Fez? If I understand it correctly, didn't the Church get blamed for apartheid?

Bombastic means sensational. Pre-millennialism is well known for its sensationalism. As I said before...how many times do pre-mils change their theology to suit the news headlines? "This is the pre-cursor to Armageddon." Then whatever 'this' is doesn't happen, so the next big case of a ME dictator with indigestion comes along and they change again. It's laughable.

And I wasn't pointing my finger at anyone until the crap-slinging started. I was making a point. I'm lacking in the fruit of the spirit because I don't agree with your eschatology? Spare me.
