How unbelievably sad is this? And what on earth would motivate anyone to try to perpetrate yet ANOTHER big foot hoax? Only the far out fringes believe in this stuff anyway. Let's pray for this poor soul's family.

What is the legal age for driving on public roads in Montana?

Step 1: Get an Instruction Permit (Traffic Education Learner's Permit)

The State allows you to begin driving when you turn 14 1/2 years old. But to do so you must enroll in a State-approved traffic education program. Once you enroll, you will be issued a traffic education learner's license or permit that will allow you to operate a car only while under the supervision of an instructor. This permit expires when your driving classes end. Then you may get a learner’s license from a driving exam station just like teens 16 and older are permitted to do without taking driver′s ed.

The sad part about this to me is that due to one man's irresponsibility (standing in the road while wearing a camouflaged ghillie suit that is used by professional snipers to conceal themselves), not only did he lose his life, but now two young women are going to have to live with his death for the rest of their lives as well.

Yes, they will. Again, this is just so sad and it was SO unnecessary.

1. Stupid can be deadly.

2. Put this guy in for a Darwin Award -- he'll win hands down for the entire year.

3. This man's stupidity is going to affect those drivers for the rest of their lives, and it wasn't thier fault he was in the road at night in camaflage. His bad choices will definitely affect others.

4. I'm still having a bit of trouble believe there was someone that stupid walking the planet.

This is a situation in which age of driver wouldn’t of mattered. Think about it, he’s in dark clothing that blends in with the background late at night and on a dark unlit 2 lane highway. I’m very sure he looked like a bush or shrub at first glance. How well do you think any driver would have noticed that bush was really a person in the dark? His timing of running out in front of the 15 year old, very likely left her no time to react. You have no idea how fast a person can dart out in front of you with no warning at all that their about to do it.

The sole blame should be put squarely on the man who ran out in front of her. Had this of happened during daylight hours, the two teens chances of avoiding him might have been better.

I don't think anyone is blaming the drivers...just kind of sad that they were both so young...IMO, 15 is WAAAAY too young to be

driving in most cases but I agree that the fellow just was not thinking clearly...I wonder if he wasn't on something...

15 and 17....they must both be in need of counselling.

Just really sad and very very stupid.
