See if you have a local KLOVE station or find it on the net @ KLOVE.com. It is not perfect, and the morning show is a bit chatty, but all and all it is pretty good. No commercials either.

Many years ago in my hippie days I was a DJ on a prog-rock station (some of you will know what I mean) and that, and various forms of rock are what I enjoy still. When I got saved back in the early seventies in the Jesus Movement, I was right there loving the cutting-edge sounds of Larry Norman, Rez Band, Daniel Amos, Randy Stonehill, Keith Green, Whiteheart, Petra, and others.

But it seems with the passing of Rich Mullins, somewhere along the line most Christian radio became very "safe" and pop-driven. Nothing wrong with that, if that's what you like, but I'll pass, thanks. These days I'm into more indie Christian bands and singers, ones that K-Love and Air One won't play, but still have music that glorifies God and moves me as well.

My own opinion, of course. Your mileage may vary.

I remember some of those bands, and I remember Kieth Green. :)

Got any links for the Indie groups?

Grace and peace to all,

All are in different faith levels.

Yet the furthest of faith is love.

When finally reaching this point in faith, you won't need anything worldly ( dance, music, friendships, attachments, etc...).

Very few people will get to this point on earth, and those that do, they will understand everyone else, but many will not understand them.

Until a person reaches this stage, they will always see people and places giving part of the gospel and then not.

That is because they are still in the world.

When you are still in the world, and worrying of the world, then immediately we are against faith; so we are sinning.

So in these stages of faith, GOD will always use a shameful and foolish thing to show HIS power to people.

Which constantly tests them and shows them their lack of love in their faith.

Money/tithing is given from the heart.

Ministry should be so good and edifying that a persons' heart/faith should be so filled that they want to give money or any resource they have that can help a ministry; without someone asking.

This is what ministry in faith does.

This is a high level of faith. Very few have this.

This is why many wanted to kill Jesus because HIS level of faith only trusted in GOD, not man. Yet, HE could exist and communicate with humans without needing them.

Please pray and please read:

Art ( music and more) will end:

REVELATIONS 18:21-24

Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said:

“With such violence

the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,

never to be found again.

The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters,

will never be heard in you again.

No worker of any trade

will ever be found in you again.

The sound of a millstone

will never be heard in you again.

23 The light of a lamp

will never shine in you again.

The voice of bridegroom and bride

will never be heard in you again.

Your merchants were the world’s important people.

By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.

In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people,

of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

Greatest level of faith is love

MARK 12:29-31

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

There is no commandment greater than these.”

1 PETER 4:8

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

MATTHEW 5:3-10

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,

for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,

for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart,

for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

THE hymns we should be singing is the song that was not understood in Revelations that was being sung.

It was the song of love.

No one could open the scroll because no one had enough love in their hearts.

GALATIANS 5:19-26

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

1 CORINTHIANS 1:26-31

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called.

Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Grace and peace to all

that whole dissertation is just whack hyper-religious legalism. None of it considers the context of who is speaking and to whom; and music does not hinder "love" in any way.

20 If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, 21 “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!” 22 (which all refer to things destined to perish with use)—in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men? 23 These are matters which have, to be sure, the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and self-abasement and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence.

If Christian music were outlawed, we'd find out who was really a christian because they wouldn't be able to stop singing. I have a friend who is a pop-star in Poland. His music is played on radio next to Lady Gaga, yet every one of his songs are about faith, trusting, and seeking God. He doesn't use the name of Jesus, but it's obvious who his songs are to and about. He addresses topics that you'll never hear on (so utterly predictable) American christian radio like gay marriage, signs of the times, husband/wife issues, etc...

I have been stating the same thing ever since this poster showed up on the radar. I believe he imagines himself a prophet of sorts and I also believe

he thinks he has the ability to cause God to judge those who disagree with him (typical of a person who believes they are special and answer to no one but God)

I'm glad I am not the only one who sees through these posts

Legalism is the act of exalting oneself over others through the use of rules and religion.

You are not alone. I chose to ignore him, since I was pressed for time when I saw the post.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
