when will we exersize our rights, and have our voice heard, the small interest groups seem to push their agenda's and change laws, they have removed God from our schools, and now they are pushing to remove God from all Government buildings. abortions continue into the millions each year, when will we turn to the Lord?, we have been blessed in this nation, but how long will God continue to bless a nation who has turned thier back on him?, we need to become one voice, we need to join together and elect representives to communicate with our senators and House representives, to restore prayer in school, to end abortions, and other issues that are important to christians. this nation was founded on biblical principals and religious freedom is a part of the fabric of this nation, but there is a push to make this a heathen nation.

I don't believe that the jury is back on the turned our back on God bit. Saying it is so don't make it so.

11 states had propositions on their ballots to forbid homosexual marrage, and 11 states by an overwhelming majority in all of them passed these laws.

I went to church tonight for prayer (that's all we do wednesday night is pray), and some came early, some stayed late, and some drove hours to make it to prayer, just prayer.

As long as there are sincere seakers of the Lord standing in the gap and crying out in prayer while also witnessing the gospel to the lost, America has a lot more time and grace than otherwise would be the case.

I would also argue that as nations go, America has defeated 2 nations, freeing many millions of oppressed souls in the process, and then handing control over to the local people, and that is righteousness in war, from a national standard.

I pray God bless America, and I believe that He still is answering my prayer.

I am extremely encouraged by the way christians turned out and let their voices be heard.

We live in a republic where we are not the majority...but we are a large voting block and the Democrats will have to re-evaluate how they have been so contemptable to the faithful if they ever want to win another election. This is 3 voting cycles in a row where we've gained in the House and Senate along with the Presidency. Dan Rather can't figure it out and neither can the Dems.

The only person I've seen on the Democrat side who understands this is Joe Liberman and Barak Obama. 2 people does not a revolution make....but they might be able to talk some sense into the Libs over there....

Hi John,

When has this country ever not been a "heathen nation?" Did God ever make a covenant with the US?

If we are dead in Christ, how can a dead man have any "rights?"

Until Jesus returns who is the god of this world? Doesn't he control all the kingdoms of this world, the US included? And according to the will of God?

We do get caught up in the affairs of this life.

2Ti 2:4  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

We are willing to offend people in the name of anything except Jesus. If the christians would spend as much time telling people the gospel as they do campaigning, there would be no need to insist that the heathen live like christians, the would be christians. Then again I haven't found many that really know what the gospel is. It is certainly not trying to establish the kingdoms of this world.

It's true that we are Americans, and as such, we have certain rights IMPOSED on each of us by our constitution and bill of rights, and while I as a Christian might choose to allow my rights to be violated, still, as far as the authorities of the world are concerned, I certainly have these rights.

The apostle Paul used his rights as a free born Roman citizen to appeal his case upward, and also to get a little protection from being beaten.

Many people have never known the freedom we were born into, and most of us have never known the bondage that many were born into.

the Christians vote, or voice, is very simular to the militaries......

a number of years ago, the statistics for the military voting was about as follows:

less then 50% of the military members were even registered to vote.... not good numbers....

less then half of those registered voted ( either with local or absentee ballots ) again that is not good numbers....

these numbers are even less among the military spouses and other dependants that are of age to vote.....

with numbers as these, the politicians have no reason to support this peticular group..... if this group would register and vote, there would be numbers enough that the politicians would realize they have a group that can make a difference in their campaign.......

Christians are much like that......

how many are registered voters????

of those registered voters how many actually vote ?????

of those voting how many vote straight party, no matter what the issues are???

(meaning, if you are registered republican, you vote for only those with an R by their name.....if you are registered democrat, you only vote for those with a D by their name.... ) and not caring what the person actually stands for......

yes, it is after the election, and we have two more years before we hit the polls again for congress and senate.... find out the issues, get past the mud slinging, and find out what each candidate actually stands for.... their past is a good indicator, but not the entire story.......

are they claiming to be a believer and or follower in Christ and then vote for abortion or gay rights during their time in office????? not a good track record there...... do they say one thing and vote or act a different way.... ..

most people dont even pay attention until a couple months before an election, and then they really dont care.... just vote ( if they vote at all..... )

why is the voice of the Christians not being heard on Capitol Hill???? cause we are wishy washy..... we flip flop...... we say how terrible it is for this to happen, then we vote for the person that is going to make it happen again.........

we say one thing and we do something totally different.....

I hope all of you that were of age, voted...... dont matter who, just hope you did.....

i feel that if a person is able to vote, and didnt, they have no room to complain about anything that is going on....... cause they didnt care enough to vote, then they obviously dont care enough to have the privilage to complain...... shouldnt matter to them......

By getting overly active in schools, politics, social functions we're playing right into the devils hand. The churchs main purpose of spreading the gospel of Christ has been replaced with converting people to republicans. I here more people talking about this person being a democrat or a liberal when they should be wondering if they know Jesus. It's pathetic. Just be christians and God will slay our enemies.

Indeed our country is in dire need of the Lord right now. It is unfortunate, but our country would appear to wish to be rid of the ways as well as the reason as to why Americans came to this land in the first place.

However, as has been put before, and as is written within the scriptures. Should anyone seek out the Lord, God diligently, one will find him. God will not turn his back upon his children on account of where they live, or what is being done there, but on account of the person's own heart.

For it is also written within the Bible that God will not leave nor forsake his children. This is not a time to despair but to take firm action in faith.

The constitution does not grant rights, it only enumerates the ones you have. The same goes for the Bill of Rights. In fact the preamble to the bill of rights shows that it was never meant to be modified and was a restriction on the constitution itself.
