If a person claims to have received information from God that is contradictory to the Bible, that information is wrong and did not come from God.

So true.

"The Bible",Sahn.is the God inspired Word written down by men....not simply their account as we are told in the Scriptures themseves....so on the contrary it is not JUST SIMPLY a testimony to the Lord Jesus Christ,so firstly I think it is very important that we believe this to be true and accurate. We are instructed by GOD that faith comes from hearing, hearing the Word of God......the Bible IS the Living Word of God which was made manifest in the personage of Jesus Christ our Savior(Who is the Word)...In Jesus own Words to us He says He did not come to destroy the scriptures, laws, doctrines, commandments or any Word given to the prophets but to fulfill them.....so knowing the written Word of God is crucial.

When seeking the Truth,God tells us He WILL reveal Himself to us in His Word.....I think is is very important, secondly, that when having a revelation personally given(you or anyone?)by Jesus Christ that the person pray for discernmant as we are warned that even Lucifer disguises himself as an angel of light ......Jesus left with us the Holy Spirit to bring remembrance to us(remembrance of what?)of the Word!!Any Word given us by either a ministering angel of God,Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit must be confirmed by what is written....and established by two or three witnesses.Even when one has a divine encounter it is always confirmed,God will send you to either someone or send someone to you that will help in determining validity.

I'm really very unsure of what the "Ghost & Alien" question is but let me encourage you to pray, ask for discernment  and to read the Word of God......praying you be blessed by God and lead and directed by the Wisdom and understanding that can only come from the Holy Spirit,I pray these things in the Name of our Lord and Savior,Christ Jesus

                                                                                                                                                 Bless you,Kwik

The Bible is a book of testimony to Jesus Christ. I agree

The Bible is not meant for doctrines and teachings about Jesus... This seems contradictory? Please explain. :help:

The Lord Jesus told us that the bible was given to us by God (Him) for only one purpose and that is to let us all mankind know that there is really God with and to whom all of us can come to at any time. He further said that the bible is not meant to be the source of doctrines or teachings about men's salvation nor is the bible to be the basis of teachings in knowing God. Since its purpose is to let people know that there is God, the people in return have to come to and call on to God so that the Lord God in return may respond to them in and through His own ways of living. It is at this point when God responds to their call that knowledge about the truth and about God will come to them but all of these responses of God are in and through His own ways and terms and most of all, God's responses are always coupled with trials so that the Lord God can gauge the faith that those who come to Him will be able to accord to the Lord God.

The Lord contradicts your words with His.

2 Timothy 3

16 All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be perfected, thoroughly furnished to every good work.

I'm not sure what you mean. I know the Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, Redeemer, King, Friend, and Lord. I thank God for His grace in saving me many years ago. I'm a great sinner yet Jesus is a Greater Savior.

What truths beyond the Bible are you referring to?

God has revealed Himself to humanity through the inspired Word of God - the Bible. Do you not believe God inspired the Bible?

As in the days of the apostles, so are the days today with Jesus the Lord God, nothing is new under the sun and only His means in talking/communicating to the people differ but He Himself, unseen, is still the one involved in guiding and teaching His sons/families/friends/followers/disciples today in our time. Did you come to know Jesus that way?

One truth that the bible doesn't have and that was hidden to mankind for quite a long, long time is the fact that Jesus taught his disciples that no one within the church of the Lord is allowed to act as men pastor simply because the Lord is the only Good Shepherd/Pastor/Teacher in His Church. Also, the Lord God did not actually say to Adam and Eve that they will surely die by the time they eat the fruit that He forbids them to eat. The Lord told us that what He said to the two is that they will be clothed with sins by the time they eat that fruit. Another one is about marriage where the bible has the record that the two will become one flesh but in reality, the Lord told us that what He said to Adam and Eve is that He will give them one flesh and it is about the offspring that will be the result of that marriage, not that the husband and the wife will become one flesh. These are only some of the hidden truths that is beyond the limits and bounds of the bible today.

I do believe God inspired the original scriptures but God warns us that the bible is not the Lord God.

Please be informed that the bible in the first place is not the Lord God nor is Paul and his letter the Lord God, too, how do you now say the Lord contradicts my words, do you know the Lord truly? If so, how do you know Him?

So in your view what the Lord says comes down to personal opinion and there is no way to determine who is correct?

Ironical even your own view cannot be supported in any way. you cannot use the Bible to support it.

Im aware that the bible is not the Lord. But it is His words. God breathed inspiration.

The apostle paul was sent by God. Chosen by God. His words are indeed the inspired words of God.

I know the Lord. You can find my testimony if you are interested in knowing how I know Him. Questioning my salvation just because I disagree with you is not cool.

To be safe, treat those writings as testimonies to the Lord Jesus and you will be in good hands, for sure. If you want sound teachings that will surely lead you to the way to your salvation and knowing God, then go and come to the Lord Jesus Christ in the way how He exists and lives in His own way of living.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
