I have heard many different preachers, pastors etc. make it difficult (almost impossible) and dogmatic to be a believer in Jesus Christ, that is a sin to do those things to people.

First the bible states that we are to believe Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, that he died on the cross for our sins, and was raised from the dead 3 days later.  To repent for our sins and be baptized (John 3), in the same manner as John the Baptist baptized, and how Philip baptized the Eunich.  Read at least the New Testament to learn His Word and Truth and believe the record of Him (1 John 5:10-12)  This is simple.  Also look up Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Jesus did not reside in any "church" building to teach or otherwise.  Therefore we do not need a church building for learning His Truth, prayer, fellowship, to have a relationship with God, or to be baptized in.  The belief in Jesus Christ makes Him our mediator and we need no other to mediate between us and God.  God's glory for reconciliation is not a challenge as many men have made it to be, as if a person has to change their lives before they come to believe, that is false doctrine.  Jesus did no such things in His work, and we are to follow that example; on God can change our insides and our lives, there is no force powerful enough on earth to do what God can do to us and for us.

Praise God for His glorious work to reconcile Us to Him in such simplicity.  All Glory To God, forever and ever, and not to any other.

Please read the bible if you believe in Jesus Christ, for He is the only (everything) we can trust and of where Truth comes from, and he wants a personal relationship with you.  All you need is faith as small as a mustard seed.

My prayers to all of you.

If any person would like to learn more of Jesus Christ in the Tanakh (Old Testament) tied to the New Testament, please watch Steven DeNoon's newest video posted 09/10/2013.  He is a Jewish man who believes in Jesus Christ.  At the end he even explains why there needs to be a baptism/Second Birth.

Looks like you have been hitting all the bad churches, or watching the wrong preachers on TV.  May I encourage you to look for one that agrees with scripture.

As for Jesus not residing in any church building, how could He since the first church was not created until after His departure after resurrection and the out pouring of the Holy Spirit?  Jesus did, however, preach in the temples.

Having accountability is a good thing.  Do you agree?

As for baptism being a requirement for salvation, that is a doctrine made up from mans personal interpretation of scripture.  We read in Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Notice in the above verse, one is saved first before we can walk in our good works, which baptism is an obedient work.

A lot of salvation through baptism uses Mark 16:16 as the most solid scripture to back this theory up with, so let's take a look.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Scripture ,and Jesus Himself, says that one has to believe in Christ to be saved.  This is the only verse that places them together is such a way, but let's look at how it was spoken.  Since obedience is a fruit of salvation, then being baptized is out of obedience.  So Jesus said:

  1. He who believes (faith)
  2. and is baptized (obedience and good work)
  3. will be saved.
  4. he who does not believe will be condemned.

Why did Jesus eliminate not being baptism from what condemns?

His Apostles after him never resided in what man calls a "curch building".  They went with the Spirit and traveled sharing the glory of the Gospels.  John 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is ever one that is born of the Spirit.

What was the command Jesus gave to the Apostles?  We read in Matthew 28:18-20  " And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

Jesus did not tell them to stay in one place.  The word Apostle means "a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders", which is what Jesus did , He sent them with specific instructions.  In the very next verses, Jesus instructed them again: "And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”"  Now, where did they gather?  In the upper room, or attic, where they were staying.  This was a church in it's true meaning.  Matthew 18:20 tells us "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."

Nothing states that we have to gather in a white building with a steeple and a cross on top.  It is just easier this way.  In the first churches, they use to hold the gatherings at peoples homes.  This is till done today.  As for Jesus never having a church, He did.  Where ever He was, it was a gathering of two or more people in His name.  As for preaching in a structure, he also did that.  He taught in the temples, in Matthews house (the tax collector), in Peters house and so on.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
