Blessings to all,

Wow!!!thats alot of members ,I had no idea there were that many....great,looks like we will be around for quite some time.I am sure not everyone joins to fellowship or even to be heard from but thoroughly enjoy reading what others ask, answer and share....everyone has their own reasons but I sure hope they receive whatever it is they are looking for when they joined.

Just tonight a fellow said he has been reading along for quite some time and finally decided to come on and make his presence known,I thought that was really neat.I do know that this site is a blessing from God and may His Will be done and His purpose for it be accomplished in the Name of Jesus.

I facilitate prayer line on the weekends and the same 4 or 5 people come on to pray everyday ,there are 20 other people on the line that remain unknown and silent....I hope they hear something they needed or wanted to hear but that is something that I will never know, just have to persevere and trust God.I know we are talking about a great more in number here but its all the same thing.

I am not being disrespectful of Michaels opinion,he is entitled to think however he chooses but I do not think anyone that is a regular here displays such bad behavior that would drive people away....and I certainly don't think donations have anything to do with who says what and what is tolerated.....in my experience I have always found that the most significant donations are usually donated anonymously....if that was the case, they would have deleted Michaels post(lol).....but maybe I am misunderstanding who he is referring to,I am assuming it is staff members?

Well, let us all pray that many more will come...seeking and knocking and let us be the flock that can lead them to the Shepherds tent!God bless everyone of those 63,000...

I agree with cobalt, and I have taken off myself for some of those same reasons.

And there are some people who might prefer to lurk then post too. It depends on the environment. For example, Im a lurker only at one forum I've been a member of for just over a year. And it isn't the people, because the people there seem nice but I can never find a decent topic there. Then theres another I have been a member of where I posted a little but didn't post much more after that because the people there seemed so absolutely nasty, I wouldn't even chose to lurk there. And yet another forum because it seemed very clicky (going out of their way to exclude you). You just get a feeling for a place when you are looking for one I think.

But then again, there was one I established myself earlier on (and for quite awhile) and I joined something like several days before one Christmas. And it was actually the first Christmas without my daughter (who had passed away). So I joined there for no other reason then I was feeling sad, but I wanted to feel numb. And I chose there because it was large enough to both keep my mind busy (so I wouldn't think about it) and just get lost in a crowd (at the same time). I wasnt really interested (at that time) in finding fellowship in Christ either. I sorta stopped believing that existed to be quite truthful (at least online anyway). So from the start of that one, there was nothing exceptional about the forum (or any good reason on my part) for joining (or for my remaining) for that matter. From the beginning it worked to keep my mind busy, and it just become more of a habitual thing (better then watching TV) I thought, because I've never been a big TV watcher. But it wasn't really fruitful. Or sure didn't feel like it was.

So sometimes even my decisions have had no real rhyme or good reason to them. And when it got bad there (because its not the nicest of places) I would want to shake the dust off of my feet at it and take off (and have) but for just a few months. Disappearing (only to reappear again) because the thought of acclimating myself into a new environment wasn't something I was crazy about. So I would change my mind and decide there was great potential for growth in learning to love those I pretty much felt hated me, so I'd stayed. Or that's what I took on as the reason in my own mind. Maybe I could give it some noble cause in my own mind (lol)

I believe they have something like 300,000 registered members but each member can have up to ten screen names, so I don't know what the true figure is.

The majority of people here are far far nicer then the many other forums I have looked at. If anyone thinks this place is not nice, or difficult or even unfairly moderated they could not have possibly been to the majority of forums out there. But that's just my opinion (of course) but I think this place is really nice in comparison to whats out there.

People come and people go, as with any web site. Some move, some find a different site that fits better with what they believe, some loose interest in online discussion forums, some become involved in other ministries, some join just to read and never post ... there are many reason why people come and go.

This site is over 11 years old. I did not even find the site until 2007 and many had come and gone when I joined.

while nobody can be sure of why they discontinued their presence, I'm quite sure some were driven away by bad behavior that is seen occuring by some of the regulars, not at all sure why this would be tolerated, maybe they donate a hefty sum and it has afforded them a sort of bullet proof protection,

Your post is wrong on so many fronts I have to wonder what is going on inside you that would cause you to be so criticall all the time. IF you would like to talk, PM me.

To address your concerns, nobody who is not in ministry is informed of any discussion or actions taken on another member. That would be very disrespectful and breaking confidentiality. To claim bad behavior is tolerated is assuming you know what we do behind the scenes, and since you don't know, your assumptions are very misleading and incorrect.

Nobody is ever given "bullet proof protection". I can assure you that some in ministry have been removed for ministry when corrective actions takes were rejected by them. We hold those in ministry to a higher degree of accountability. We also try to be as "long suffering" or "patient" with regular members as Jesus was toward us all. I can also say that very few people have ever donated to this site.

I have noticed you have a critical view of this site and how it operates, so again, I encourage you to PM me if you have specific questions. Just taking pot shots at this site will never resolve anything.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
